Review: Sony MDR-XB70BT | Cumbersome And Thunderous Sony MDR-XB70BT

Impractical design and excessive bass rendition make them uninteresting for most people.

Impressive bass for its size. The actual earbuds are light and comfortable.

Cumbersome and heavy design. Bass is too intrusive.

Sony MDR-XB70BT Review: EXTRA BASS Bluetooth In-Ear Neckband Earphones

Sony MDR-XB70BT delivers the signature EXTRA BASS sound favoured by EDM music lovers in a soft neckband style. Sufficiently balanced treble clarity makes the earphones very listenable even for instrumental genres.

  (Rating Hidden)

These unusual Bluetooth headphones from Sony hook around your neck - it looks interesting, but it's the sound we're interested in. According to Sony there's extra bass built-in, so read our full review to find out whether the sound still feels balanced.

FANTASTIC

Great sound. Amazing bass. Easy controls and link up with various devices. Great battery and clear microphone. Only downside would be that every now and then the cable will slide too much to the left or right when on your shoulders.

Below average audio quality

Like all Sony headphones these are well-made and feel high quality. However, they're fairly heavy and can slip around easily. There is an extremely significant amount of bass, so in that regard they are great, but overall the sound quality isn't...
