Sony MDR-V700DJ

Serious listening demands serious headphones. For DJ and remix applications, Sony touts its MDR-V700DJ. It's designed for critical monitoring, and the model's professional styling expresses a contemporary theme.

Superior sound quality and sonic range; folding design; coiled 10-foot cord; 1/4-inch adapter.

Relatively pricey; geared mainly toward hip-hop, rock, and techno.

These full-size earcup 'phones deliver excellent reproduction of today's popular music.

I adore these DJ headphones! They're the most fantastic headphones for those who like to spin. The laying of sound is magnificent and once you've tried these you'll easily throw away your old pair. They make the job so much more fun

Bad? What bad? With all of the great features and the amazing sound you can't go wrong with these DJ headphones

Love them love them love them! These are the best DJ headphones I've seen so far. The sound is spectacular with clean and clear high tones and deep and rich low ones. You can't go wrong with these headphones.

Once you get past the $50 price point, below which most headphones are largely similar, the process of choosing the right set of headphones for the right application can be very confusing. In this article\review, I'll delve into some different......

The greatest thing about the MDR-V700s, and the reason why I bought them, is that their ultra sensitive specs, performance, and price are unmatched by pretty much every other headphone out there, including similarly priced headphones from Sony’s...

"Excellent bass/treble response with enough portability"

It's a Sony - trustworthy, excelling in all quality headphone for the serious listener.

Very nice Bass response.

Not so portable due to the lengthy wire - but it is coiled to give as much portability.

"DJ Style Indeed"

Being a producer myself, I use these when I'm writing a track and I want it to be loud and fun - they're definitely perfect for that. I wouldn't use these for any kind of mastering or mixing, but like I said - if you want loud and bassy, these are the...

Very comfortable, extremely loud, durable as hell, very bassy and sounds good at high volumes.

A lot of people don't know what "DJ Style" really means outside of a form factor. These are supposed to be used in a loud club setting so as to hear your next cue track over what's already playing in the house. These are fantastic for that, but they're bi

"Very Impressed"

Overall I couldn't be happier with them.

1. They look great. 2. The cord is long and coiled so it doesn't become tangled. 3. The sound is very good as I use them for video gaming.4. The swivle feature is great when having to listen to the wife gripe about me gaming too much.

They are a bit heavy and put alot of pressure on your ears, but have gotten used them after 3 days of use.

These headphones are marvelously styled, very durable, and perfect sound output.

Audio, drive, bass, frequency range, etc.

Ear fatigue, cost.
