Good for certain genres of music

Weak bass, poor sound quality with noise canceling switched off, causes discomfort when listening for extended periods of time, expensive

I've recommended these to countless people. They may not be the best for air travel, but for workplace, school, etc they are pretty damn good for the price. Gave em to my friend that has Bose ( non-canceling ) on ear headphones, and he much prefers these.

Comfortable, Inexpensive, Quality Sound (with sound canceling on)

Headband, its not uncomfortable, but its not sturdy either, battery life could be a little better, but i do tend to leave on the sound canceling on, and the battery still lasts about 4 or 5 days of constant use

Sony MDR NC7 headphones (black)

Maybe it is not painful for everyone, but I figure that about 30% of the people out there will think they hurt after an hour of wearing them.

Sounds good. Folds up nicely. Good price

I can't wear them for more than an hour before it hurts the skin on my ears. Not sure if it's a "me" problem or the headphones, but out of the 20 or so other headphones I've owned in my life, this is the only one that I find to be painful
