Sony MDR NC7 headphones (black)

I've recommended these to countless people. They may not be the best for air travel, but for workplace, school, etc they are pretty damn good for the price. Gave em to my friend that has Bose ( non-canceling ) on ear headphones, and he much prefers these.

Comfortable, Inexpensive, Quality Sound (with sound canceling on)

Headband, its not uncomfortable, but its not sturdy either, battery life could be a little better, but i do tend to leave on the sound canceling on, and the battery still lasts about 4 or 5 days of constant use

Sony MDR NC7 headphones (black)

I don't know if this is fair considering I'm use to my Bose noise canceling headphones, but for $300 I can hear where my money went with those. I got these so as to not to use my Bose too much. I knew not to expect that kind of level of sound when I...

Very nice looking, folds up, comes with storage pouch and adapter for airplane travel. Unlike some noise canceling headphones (like Bose) you have passive circuitry that allows you to continue listening to your music when the batter dies

Quality of sound is not what I expected. For this price I had hoped for a more richer sound without colorization of the original signal as a lot of headphones will do (such as bass boost). The battery compartment is suspect - hope it doesn't break

The first thing to note is you can not enjoy listening to music in these headphones. Especially, if you have got a Walkman. It seemed to me that NC was never existed in these headphones. It IS so weak. When the NC is switched on, the sound quality will...
