horrible 5khz ringing and overlouded bass

I've had these for about 5 months now, and wear them at work - they are quite comfortable on the ears and sounded alright in the noisy sony store, so I thought I'd give them a try, but after a long while I'm giving up - there is a subtle but nasty...

Pros: big and comfortable cushion, amazing sound, even more amazing bass, nice style, very long cable, flat cord to keep it from tangling Cons: over time the headphones get you a little warm or sweaty from the cushions but other than that i couldnt...

i have owned these headphones for a few weeks now and i still love them, the bass they produce is good, but with an amp, suchs as a fiio 9, they are much MUCH better. my brother and several other guys i know that have $2000+ sound systems in there...

XB Series FTW

I'm extremely satisfied with these headphones! Out of all my other headphones these reign as king. The bass, my lord the bass and I thought my XB700s' were good. The sound that my Walkman(S 2nd Gen) and my Fiio(E11) can produce out of them is so...

HUGE!

I auditioned these guys extensively during the 3 weeks I had them. My final thoughts are this: Overall good sound, worthy of the term "high quality" and definitely able to impress the lesser trained ear. For headphones that'll run ya about $280-300...

Awesome! If AMP'ed Properly!

These headphones deliver solid sound and some excellent bass performance with a good AMP. I am pushing mine with a Nuforce HDP DAC/AMP. It's a great combo! I also own a pair of Sennheiser HD650's and I still consider them the best all around headphones...
