TDK BA-100 review

More comfy than a pair of favourite slippers, the TDK BA-100 earphones take the balanced armature path in pursuit of sonic supremacy

Excellent sonic separation ; Good build quality ; Dual length cable

Dominant bass ; Annoying cord ; Dull looking

The TDK BA-100 is something of a revelation for in-ear balanced armature monitors, delivering a thumping bass performance. Trouble is, that deep affection for bass is arguably too strong, leaving superbly reproduced vocals and higher frequency sounds...

TDK BA100 earphones

Accessory of the Week While these boys from TDK may look like a typical pair of in-ear 'phones, they actually take a different approach to most earphones in the way they deliver sound. They used balanced armature technology rather than dynamic drivers.

Pricey in-ear 'phones, but oh-so comfortable to wear, and with audio fidelity to match.

TDK BA-100 in-ear Headphones review

The TDK BA-100 in-ear Headphones are billed as a ‘balanced armature' headphone set that comes with a 3.5mm gold plated jack at one end and a pair of nicely sculpted in-ear drivers that have a frequency response of 20 – 20k Hz. They have a simple black...

With sound quality to the fore, the TDK BA-100 In-ear headphones deliver an incredibly warm and rounded sound in a package that is well built but ultimately borders on the fuddy-duddy! TDK BA-100 in-ear Headphones review is tagged with TDK BA-100...

Not bad, but problem in technical problem.

Good quality sound and beautiful design

Extension line is than long, and constantly broken ; I bought this two times when it for sale, but the extension line is broken and broken... I just used for two months ; Technically, BA100 is not well designed earphone ; TDK think about this again

Pretty good buds

I was not impressed at first but once I hooked them up to my phone with a portable amp, they were able to shine. I have numerous pairs of mid to highend buds and headphones.

I like these buds ; Very nice crips highs ; Very comfortable and do a good job canceling noise

If you like a lot of base, you might not like these buds ; Pretty expensive if you don't pick them up on sale

TDK headphones

I would have been upset if bought at full price. Have not contacted tdk or newegg. Would like to return or get new ones that would hold up longer.

works ok

Cord is cumbersome while walking, causing feedback noise from bouncing. Left earplug quit after 6 weeks of normal to medium use. Right one starting to give out. Weak cord. Useless unless you only have one earhole that works

Great sound if you tweak

If you don't have the ability to tweak the mids on your sound device, I doubt you will be able to get these to sound 'great'. Aside from being a software engineer, I produce my own music and have a sophisticated digital recording studio, so believe me...

I like the design, I don't feel the cords are too long or short, easy to distinguish left from right, no tangling, sound quality is better than standard or what would be considered 'good'. $44 with new egg promo

The mids are way too much. Like the last TDK pair I owned, the shell surrounding the drivers is a hard thin plastic that may crack if you have an accident - I cracked my last pair, and I don't even know how, but I was able to glue it back together....

Best in the price range

For people who complain about basses - you have equalizer, right? You can always adjust bass or any other range to you own taste. Those can provide really punchy and rounded bass if you want to. Otherwise you can pay 3 times as much and buy headwoofers...

Good sound quality, rounded basses, clean vocals, solidly build, good looking, great price, good noise cancelling

You have to be accurate with memory foam pieces
