Decent overall

The forward-angled ear cups are either good or bad depending on the shape of your ears.

The fake leather surrounding the ear cups and headband provides decent cushioning ; Has a volume control and mic mute switch (with clip) along the cord ; Sound quality on speakers and mic seems good ; Mic boom is very flexible and retains its position

The mic boom's rotating base is extremely stiff; if you want to make large adjustments you have to move it at the base ; Despite the fake leather, it might feel a little tight; after a few hours of use my ears did start to hurt ; Can't rotate the ear...

Excellent value! Mute switch, and volume control Awesome. I had two of my friends buy these and they work awesome

One of my friends, when we play and he mutes his mic, it makes an irritating noise

So many issues

I don't really recommend this. Let's just say you'll get your &18 worth.

Sound quality is decent, I had issues with the mic, even after adjusting the mic settings. I like the flex tube for the mic, I am able to position it to wherever I need it

I had two of these headsets, I have two rigs at home. The first set lasted me a little over a year, the second set, just under 6 months. The wires are very fragile and if moved around too much, causes the audio to cut in and out. If I wiggle the wires...

Great way to save money

Worth it if you are looking for a PC specific headset.

I own a pair of Turtle Beach Headphones, and a pair of these for gaming. This head set has proven that it can keep up with the higher end headsets with no problem as far as sound quality. If you want a cheap headset for gaming this is definitely worth...

The earphones them self are a little hard when you first get them, but will grow on you over time. Can only really be used for PC unless you have a conversion kit

Great headset & great price

Noise cancelling. Muffles everything else, but hey, that may be exactly what you want. -I know some people (including myself) will wear the headset around the neck sometimes, and still use the mic. These headphones will choke you if you try that....

Comfortable, doesn't feel like a vice grip. I play games for 4+ hours at a time and have had no pressure related discomfort ; Respectable sound. I have an old 2.1 sound system on my computer, and these headphones sound good enough to get the two...

Kind of warm, could breath better. I suppose this is to be expected with any headset that covers your ears completely

You get what you pay for

Only reason it has 2 eggs is because it's cheap.

It works. Microphone is pretty decent quality

Uncomfortable for long use, speakers are low quality, and I had to literally wrap duct tape around the wires to keep them from curling; curling would make the microphone not work

You get what you pay for

I bought this because to use while I saved up for a quality (Razer, SteelSeries etc.) headset. The sound quality is poor and the mic is hissy and picks up every background noise, but that's to be expected for the price. It lasted 6 months before it...

Working headset, working mic, fits large head, cheap

Uncomfortable for extended use. Poor sound & mic quality. Broke after 6 months

Good for a cheap headset.

Didn't order them from Newegg, and in-fact were delivered from a place only about 100-miles away, so I can't say that a pair ordered from Newegg will be in the same condition as mine are.

Cheap, decent-length chord, easy-to-position mic. I also really like the little volume adjuster/mic toggle thing, it is close enough up the headphone wire that it isn't constantly banging on my desk when I get close to the screen (which is what killed...

After having them on for about 3 hours they started to hurt my ears a little, however this was easily fixed by taking them off for a few minutes ; Also, they are a little on the quiet-side compared to my last pair of headphones, but as long as you are...

Surprising Quality For Price

If you're on a tight budget or just want to buy a cheap headset for backup use, I highly recommend these. For the price, the sound quality and sturdiness of the headset are very impressive and they served me very well for MMO/FPS gaming and VoIP needs...

In spite of the price and what to me was a questionable design on the mic boom, this headset lasted 4 times longer than some headsets that I've spent 3 times as much on ; The sound quality is spectacular for the price, as well ; The price does not...

The way that they secure the wire to the in-line volume control box is the only problem with this headset. You have to be very careful with it because the design creates stress points where the wires can be bent at extreme angles where they go into the...

New to headsets, pleasantly surprised

If you've never used a headset before and just want to try them out, these are definitely the way to go.

I've been using a desktop microphone and speakers for the past few years, so background noise has always been a problem, along with my inability to use automatic voice detection due to the mic picking up what's going on around me. Having said that ;...

it's easy to tell the casing is cheap plastic. This would be a problem if I were a barbarian who treats his equipment like rocks, but I am not so it isn't a problem
