Urbanears Stadion

The wireless Urbanears Stadion earphones have a unique look and feel with a crisp, clear sound, but exercise buffs motivated by big bass might be disappointed.

Solid audio performance with crisp, clear high-mids and highs. Stylish, reflective design. Secure fit.

Not for those seeking massive bass sound. Eartips don't seal off ear canal.

The Urbanears Stadion is a good choice if you're looking for earphones that fit securely and look stylish. The bass response is dialed back a bit, but it's not thin or brittle, and the design lets in some ambient noise so you're aware of your...

Old telephone cord? Nope, it's a Bluetooth sports headphone that really stays put

Combining "stretchy coils" and EarClick tips, these Bluetooth sports earphones stay securely in place, even during hardcore workouts. But they look kind of goofy.

The Urbanears Stadion fits securely on your head, is comfortable to wear, and eliminates the dangling wires of other Bluetooth sports headphones (it works well for running). It's sweat-proof, sounds decent enough, and includes a protective carrying pouch.

The design is love-it-or-hate-it. It's not good for listening in noisy environments, thanks to semi-open design of buds.

The Urbanears Stadion's coiled design may not appeal to everyone, but a lot of people will find it liberating to be free of the dangling cords of most Bluetooth sports headphones.

Urbanears Stadion review

Sports headphones with a loopy difference - but can they go the distance?

Properly comfortable fit ; Secure yet liberating design ; Background sounds are welcome for urban runners

Minimal noise isolation means poor office performance ; No bass punch

Eminently wearable, the Stadion serves up a secure listening experience across all activities – without shutting the world out

Urbanears Stadion review

Sweden-based Urbanears' Stadion ($99, £79 or approximately AU$140) is a bit of a different take on a wireless Bluetooth sports headphone, with a unique coiled cable that looks like an old telephone cord -- for those who remember what that is.
