V-Moda Crossfade Wireless

V-Moda's costly but luxurious-feeling Crossfade Wireless headphones deliver a powerful Bluetooth audio experience with dialed-up bass response.

Intense bass response matched with sculpted, defined highs. Secure, comfortable fit. Can simultaneously pair with two devices. Included cable with inline remote for passive, wired listening.

Expensive. Sound signature too boosted and sculpted for purists.

For $300, the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless gets plenty right, including a secure fit, solid accessories, and powerful audio performance. The bass boosting can be a bit much for purists, but I can easily see it appealing to anyone who wants that added...

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless review

V-Moda's Crossfade Wireless boast booming bass that puts Beats on notice.

V-Moda’s new Crossfade Wireless move too far into the basement for our taste, but those looking for a wireless solution with powerful bass that won’t sacrifice detail will find it here. Add in sleek styling, rugged durability, and solid wireless...

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless review

V-Moda CEO Val Kolton set out on a mission to make a Bluetooth wireless headphone that would sound as good as the company's flagship over-ear model, the Crossfade M-100 , which earned a CNET's Editors' Choice Award back in 2012.

The ruggedly constructed, well-designed V-Moda Crossfade Wireless offers strong sound both in wireless and wired modes as well as decent battery life of 12 hours. It comes with a sturdy carrying case and its shields can be swapped out and customized.

While very sturdy, it's somewhat heavy. It's more comfortable with the XL cushions, an optional accessory.

The well-built V-Moda Crossfade Wireless should be on your short list if you're looking for a premium wireless Bluetooth headphone.

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless Review: So Much To Like

The headphone market is a literal sea of choices and the sound, quality, and cost run the gamut from $10 to over $10,000. Each price point is a category unto its own and it's hard to separate the pricing tiers in a fair way as some headphones in a...

V-Moda does sound right, at this price point ($200-$300) the V-Moda's have some of the best sound on the market. Design is unique and the included hardcover carrying case is something every headphone maker should be doing

The customization options are very cool, although they do drive the price up significantly

Customization aside, you don't really need it because these things look great stock, these are some of the best sounding wireless over ear headphones on the market. The $300 price tag is very fair, these outperform the Zik Parrot 2.0's in the sound...

V-MODA Crossfade Wireless Headphones [Review]

Over the past couple of years I have grown pretty fond of V-MODA headphones. Whether its their compact but surprisingly booming XS on-ear headphones or the massive killer sounding over-ear M-100 headphones I been pretty much a fan of the brand. Down to...

V-MODA has done a stellar job crafting these headphones. The build quality is on point and the customization options ranging in color and different styling of shields helps them out from other wireless cans out in the market. Sound is great and reminds...

Review: Crossfade Wireless headphones offer quality wired or wireless listening

After a good deal of pre-release positivity from audio community reviewers and industry pundits, V-Moda's flagship Crossfade M-100 headphones were finally made available to buy at the end of 2012. Though many market competitors have since embraced the...

headphones – the company's Val Kolton calling them the "best sounding and most versatile" Bluetooth headphones he'd ever tried. Gizmag has spent the last few weeks finding out if mobile convenience can be as sonically fulfilling as cumbersome cables.

V-MODA Crossfade Wireless Review (Page 1 of 4)

A story was told of a bunch of English scientists digging down a kilometer into the ground, and found traces of copper wires a thousand years old. For this, they came to the conclusion their ancestors had a telephone network a millennium ago. In...

At this point, I have come to accept the fact the V-MODA Crossfade Wireless is not tuned for technically perfection like the XS. I get it. The bass is more forward sounding with a slightly relaxed midrange and treble. The frequency response is not...

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless review: Big on the bass

Bassheads rejoice, here's another headphone for your contemplation: the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless - which appear somewhere between gaming headset, DJ cans and out-and-about over-ears - are snug fitting, comfortable and boast a solid build. Their...

Comfortable earcups and snug fit, loud and punchy sound with big bass, wireless connectivity, solid carry case included

Really bass-heavy, definition lacks at lower volume, no noise-cancellation, a bit expensive

Their industrial design may be divisive, but the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless are a lot more comfy to wear than they perhaps look. The snug fit and memory foam earcups stand out as a point of difference compared to most loose-fitting over-ears these days,...

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless review

Grungy style and big sound go wireless

Includes hard case ; Booming sound ; Durable build

Expensive ; Divisive design ; Not foldable ; Poor button action

The Crossfade Wireless are competent wireless headphones that excel in the fundamentals, with bass-heavy sound and acceptable battery life being its strengths. Though its low points aren't enough to disqualify a recommendation, there are better options...
