Velodyne vPulse (Blue)

Velodyne has made subwoofers for a long time -- and very good ones at that -- but has only more recently got into the headphones game with vPulse, a stylish $99 earphone that comes in black or electric blue and is equipped with an Apple-friendly inline...

The Velodyne vPulse in-ear headphones offer very good sound, highlighted by impressive bass response. They also have a distinct design and have an inline microphone/remote for Apple iOS product users.

The earphones aren't supercomfortable and may not fit everyone equally well; the inline remote will not function with most non-Apple smartphones.

While some folks may encounter come comfort issues, the Velodyne vPulse in-ear headphones offer excellent sound for the money and will particularly appeal to bass lovers.

Not designed for everyday use

I had these headphones two weeks before they fell apart. The end cap on one earpiece fell off and the thin wire to the earpiece broke. I have several similar headphones, including Klipsch, Panasonic, and Etymotic. All have lasted years, not days....

amazing

i have been looking for nice, bass centric headphones for a very long time. i wanted something that could deliver the clarity and low end chest vibrating bass from a home system, except in a tiny package. these velodynes exceed all of my expectations....

Great Sound, no-tangle cord, iPhone buttons

These sound better than any other earbuds I've had. The volume doesn't go WAY high, but they keep background noise down, so I can listen to music while mowing, weed whacking, leaf blowing, or whatever. They are bass heavy, I guess, but I happen to...

Not What I Expected

I returned these after a couple days. I wanted to like them but the sound was as impressive as I was hoping, the controls are too high up/close to your head, and the linguini cords aren't very comfortable.

Poor Quality...Great Sound...

I just opened the box and started using my headphones and the volume buttons do NOT work. Then when I adjust the volume on my phone the headphones start to turn the volume down. (I have an iphone 4S) The sound is GREAT but I'm not sold on the quality...

Fights Monsters And Wins!

The Vpulse is an excellent earphone, offering pleasantly colored sound which does not go overboard. Build quality and accessory kit is excellent, and the only real issue here is occasional difficulty in getting a good seal with the stock silicone tips...
