Aliph Jawbone Icon Headphone

Smaller, more stylish than earlier Jawbones ; User-customizable voice alerts

Sound quality can degrade in certain scenarios ; Thin earhook seems fragile

Smaller, smarter, and glitzier, Aliph's new series of Jawbone Bluetooth headsets aim to combine good looks with a customizable, voice-driven interface.

Aliph Jawbone Icon

After earning the adoration of tech-savvy celebs and geeks alike with the original fashion-meets-function Jawbone and its subsequent iterations, Aliph has done it yet again with Icon. The latest Jawbone shrinks to the smallest size yet without...

Superb inbound and outbound sound quality ; Class-leading noise cancellation ; Attractive and truly varied designs ; Comfortable, easy-to-wear fit

Voice cancellation still not 100 percent flawless

The most recognizable Bluetooth headset on the planet gets smaller, sleeker, and more sensible with Jawbone’s latest amped-up, priced-down Icon.

Jawbone's Icon: a Bluetooth Headset You'll Wa...

One of the best things we saw at CES 2010 this year? Would you believe it's a Bluetooth headset?

Does what you want it to do, and does it well. Comfortable, easy to use, good audio quality. Not ugly, and no flashing blue lights mean you look like a little less of a Blue-tool. Onscreen battery indicator when paired with an iPhone, as shown in the...

No matter how cool it looks, wearing a headset when you're walking around is still just a little lame

Aliph Jawbone Icon 'The Ace' Bluetooth headset review

While Aliph was announcing its luxurious Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headsets earlier today, we've been playing with one of its six designs -- The Ace -- at our cozy London pad. Being the smallest and lightest Jawbone ever, the Icon's obviously challenging...

Stylish designs ; Fun audio apps ; Great noise cancellation

Not cheap ; Slow app installation ; May be too revealing for some

Aliph Jawbone Icon

Aliph has learned from its three prior generations of Jawbone headsets, and now includes many rubber earbuds of various sizes in the package. There's a microUSB-compatible AC adapter with a folding wall connector, and a very short USB cable that...

First Bluetooth headset with mobile apps. Excellent sound quality. Improved controls. Many design options. Costs less than prior versions

Short battery life. Fussy ear hook ; Watch the Aliph Jawbone Icon

Aliph does it again with the Jawbone Icon, a svelte, refined Bluetooth headset that looks great, sounds great, and is uniquely extensible.

Aliph Jawbone ICON Bluetooth Headset Review

The Holy Grail. The perfect cherry blossom. A four leaf clover. The perfect bluetooth headset. *BUZZ* “What are things that are searched for?” “That is correct!” Personally I'm interested in the headset, but I wouldn't mind finding a four leaf clover....

Excellent sound quality on both ends of the call ; Comfortable and extremely secure in the ear ; Noise cancellation works extremely well

Worth It (& yes, you can manually adjust volume)

Nobody seems to read any more. Yes, you can log into mytalk and choose to adjust volume with call button whilst on a call. Here's the hitch... if you do, you replace manually turning off noise cancellation. Same sort of hitch exists with earpiece...

Excellent incoming audio quality ; Lightweight and not ugly ; Noise cancellation works

Manually adjusting volume is touchy (had to turn on/off if I wanted to change baseline volume again) ; Limited call button configuration ; Personalities sound worse than call voices

Consumer review by:

I had an original Jawbone 1 which I loved

Other than the fit, I also found the estimated talk time of 4 hours relatively disappointing. Although I do not usually talk on the phone that long, it is still a pain to have to charge it every day. I do not think I should have to turn the device on...

Very stylish and befitting to to both me and my new smartphone. The quality of the sound and especially with noise assassin was awesome

The product advertises a universal customizable ear fitting system. I did not find the headset comfortable to wear nor secure even with the included ear clip. I think the fitting system was a huge flop on this headset
