Awesome

Gaming is awesome with this headset, the surround sound effects on the headset in recent games sounds amazing. Music sounds great, same can be said for movies. Very happy with my purchase, bought this at Target because it's sold out here, the extra 10...

Everything I could have wanted, Comfortable, crisp, clear, loud sound, great bass. Gold-plated 3.5mm jack, along with a creative soundcard makes this a great headset

Cord is ridiculously long and sometimes gets caught on stuff, but I can walk from my computer to my door on the other side of the room with these things on

Good

It's a $20 headset- it's not supposed to last forever (directed at other reviewers) I'm completely satisfied with getting a year out of it (after learning not to abuse the heck out of it like i have past headphones)

I've had it for a little over a year and it has been wonderful until now. Good sound and mic quality over all- Amazing considering the price

Mic cuts out and stops working after about half a second, but again, this only started happening about 2 weeks ago. Gets kind of uncomfortable and hurts ears but only after 2-3 hours of constant use, taking it off for 5 minutes or so every other hour...

Excellent quality for price

This is by far the most comfortable headset that I have ever owned. I have owned several headsets in the past that would make my ears sore after long gaming sessions but the only after affect of this headset is a slight indentation that it'll leave in...

The mic rotator becomes weak after a few months of use but not so weak that it will simply fall from where you put it. Not reeeeally a con

ALTEC LANSING AHS515 3.5mm Circumaural Stereo Headset with Microphone

I'm told this headset is the first one I've had where I sound similar to how I do in person. I used it for everything from gaming to A/V editing and internet radio broadcasting and it worked very well until the cord frayed. As I said above, the sound...

Fairly good sound, microphone quality is very respectable. In-line controls are very useful. Long cord makes it practical to use in a medium size room. Microphone boom actually stays where you put it

Cheaply made cord. The wire for the right channel is frayed just above the in-line controls after about six months of use ; Also, the sound can be kind of tinny as others mentioned

Sufficient

They're not the lowest quality pair I've ever owned, but you don't want to physically abuse these things because they WILL break.

The sound is good and clear. It's great for games, because I can tell where enemies are without seeing them

Honestly, I expected better sound quality. I didn't have high expectations, but I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong, they sound fine.. but not any better than standard headphones

Awesome

I recommend buying this product, it is great. And very perfect quality

It's very nice, high quality sound, These are actually ear cupped. Nice long cord. I like that the microphone is bendable

For some reason on Skype calls when I talk the first 15 seconds it is really muffled then it clears up ; Although I think it is my fault, maybe with my soundcard settings or something else

WOW

This headset is a diamond in the rough. I was looking for just a replacement headset because my other LOGITECH headset died on me. This headset proved to be worthy of my head. I also have speakers from Altec Lansing, I got them for ten bucks and they...

Great sound, bass. Awesome for people who listen to metal, and other such kinds of music. Very comfortable! I put these on and it was like nothing was on my head. Noise canceling is a great thing, i can barely hear my mom calling for dinner sometimes. :D

The box was bloody hard to open

Comfort

I wear them for 8 hour or more gaming without discomfort. Some times I forget I have them on. I have had them for more than a year and have had NO problems. I tried 4 different headsets before I purchased the AHS515, the others were very uncomfortable,...

GREAT BUY, GREAT COMFORT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND ; 1)Very comfortable for long hours of use ; 2)Fully adjustable Mic boom ; 3)Studio headphones to shut out ambient noise ; 4)Volume and Mic gain in-line ; 5)Long enough cord ; 6)Stereo sound

1)After hours and hours you may get a little ear sweat ; 2)I paid twice as much a little over a year ago at a locale store

Very comfortable

I saw complaints about them falling apart. I don't think you can get away from that for this price, anyone had a set for under $50 that lasted more than 2-3 years? Not me, I go through a set a year (well, my kids keep destroying them).

Most comfortable headset I've owned so far. Couple of hours of gaming every night, I've owned Plantronic and Logitech sets in this price range and I think I like these best, they feel like pillows on the ears

The mic boom is not the most adjustable. Sound quality isn't the greatest but I think it is good enough for my poor ears, you get what you pay for

These Suck, Strait Up.

I didnt even buy these and I already hate them I originally had the AHS515 but the mic died so I sent it in for repair and they sent me these.

One, the microphone is really really good

Everything, they are basically really expensive small headphones with tons of plastic and they weigh a ton after 30 min of barky sound due to the small 40mm speakers not being able to produce bass
