BlackBerry Curve 8300

RIM got hit with the 8800, and now with the launch of the 8300, the company is aiming at revitalizing its market presence. However, it would be unfair to compare the Curve based on the company's

RIM Blackberry 8300 Curve Smart Phone

The BlackBerry Curve 8300 is the latest chic smart phone to sashay down the cell phone runway. Petite and gently rounded at the corners (as its name suggests), the Curve does for Research In Motion's line of QWERTY-keyboard-equipped handhelds what the...

Most compact, chic QWERTY BlackBerry yet Improved media player

Productivity apps still thin No high-speed or Wi-Fi support

Overall, however, I found the Curve a seductive alternative to other candy-bar phones with wide-aspect-ratio screens, such as the Samsung Blackjack and the T-Mobile Dash. If AT&T's price is right, the Curve could well become the hot PDA/phone of the...

BlackBerry Curve 8300 (silver, AT&T)

Oh, we'd hate to be a RIM BlackBerry 8800 owner right now. Just months after the 8800's release, Research in Motion has released a sleeker and sexier model that'll make you wish that you had waited a while longer--the world of technology can be so...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve boasts a sexy and slim design with an improved full QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone also has a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and a media player. There's a new spell-checker for e-mail and memos, and audio technology that...

Unfortunately, the BlackBerry Curve doesn't have integrated Wi-Fi or 3G support. The device's camera still doesn't have video-recording capabilities, and call quality sounded a bit hollow

Though it doesn't bring Wi-Fi or 3G support, the BlackBerry Curve offers a best-of-breed design and a well-rounded set of features to make it an attractive device for consumers and mobile professionals alike.

BlackBerry 8300 Curve

I love the BlackBerry Curve. I love it so much, I don't want to give it back. It's a perfect example of a smartphone that doesn't do everything—but everything it does, it does well.

Easy to use. Great screen and keyboard. High quality music and video players and converters

No Wi-Fi or 3G. No support for DRM media. BlackBerry platform still doesn't have as many third party apps as other OS's

The best BlackBerry so far, the Curve is easy to use, playsmusic and video well, and is a terrific e-mail device.

BlackBerry 8300

The BlackBerry Curve has a lot going for it: a 2-megapixel camera, world roaming capabilities, expandable memory, Bluetooth, a decent music player, and of course, easy access to multiple e-mail accounts. This version also sports a nifty spell checker,...

Blackberry 8300 Curve

Just months after the release of the Blackberry 8800, Research In Motion (RIM) introduces the new Blackberry 8300 Curve, but strangely without Wi-Fi and 3G. Find out what we think of it.

Review: RIM BlackBerry Curve 8300

RIM started its quest for the non-business market with the Pearl 8100, which was a great success. Its latest offering, the Curve 8300, applies the same touches that made the Pearl so good to RIM's line of QWERTY keyboard equipped devices.

The 8300 user will enjoy a couple of options when it comes to accessing phone numbers quickly. For one, contacts can be assigned as speed dials to any of the keys on the QWERTY keyboard. Speed dials are accessed by long pressing the associated key. The...

RIM BlackBerry Curve 8300 Cell Phone

The BlackBerry Curve is an all-around top-performing smartphone wrapped in a snazzy design.

Stylish, slim design; great features; nice price; beautiful display

No Wi-Fi, 3G support; cannot record video

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

BlackBerry Curve 8300 - BlackBerry Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

Remember when BlackBerry was a hunky piece of nerdy plastic with no multimedia features? In less than a year, those days have been whisked away so completely by the BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry 8830 that owning a BlackBerry is now...

Stable, fast and easy to use. Great curvy ergonomics. Good call quality, very good music playback quality and A2DP support (something the more multimedia-oriented iPhone lacks). Battery life, as is generally true of RIM devices, is quite good ;

Not a con, per se, but an important consideration if you're thinking of the Curve vs. the 8800 line: the Curve lacks a GPS. Still no 3G on a BlackBerry. You have to turn off the phone to insert or remove a memory card

We like recent BlackBerry smartphones, and the Curve is no exception. It does all the things you'd expect from a BlackBerry but it's smaller, cooler looking and boasts decent, though not earth-shattering multimedia capabilities. The Curve is...
