BlueAnt Q2 Smart Bluetooth Headset

BlueAnt continues to enlarge its voice-controlled headset family with the BlueAnt Q2, which is the successor to the much-lauded Q1 that it introduced last year. The Q2 is dubbed a "smart" headset that is designed to take advantage of most smartphones...

The BlueAnt Q2 is slim and slender, with an impressive voice control interface that includes text-to-speech and access to Bing-411 services. It also has A2DP streaming, multipoint connectivity, and amazing sound quality.

The BlueAnt Q2 has very tiny physical controls, and there are quite a number of commands to remember.

The BlueAnt Q2 is yet another BlueAnt winner, with new Bing-411 features and fantastic call quality even in windy situations.

BlueAnt Q2

BlueAnt claims that its Wind Armor technology withstands wind noise up to 22 miles per hour. I'm still not impressed; the Q2 simply wasn't as effective as the Jawbone Icon in blocking out a high-speed fan in my office, in a series of voice mail tests...

Clear sound quality. Effective voice control. Comfortable design. Solid Android and BlackBerry integration

Expensive. Noise cancellation still not up to Plantronics or Aliph standards. Android app is still flaky. No iPhone app yet

BlueAnt delivers a winner with the Q2, a superb sounding Bluetooth headset with accurate voice control and a comfortable fit.

BlueAnt Q2 Review

Potentially establishing itself as the premier, sophisticated, and functional Bluetooth headset out there, the BlueAnt Q2 just might earn its way up to your ear as it features a medley of technology to keep it high on the totem pole. Clearly sitting...

BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset (Review)

Looking for a new Bluetooth headset? You are in the right place. Fiddling with your phone while driving is definitely a bad habit, not to mention illegal in many states. BlueAnt is back with the Q2 headset, a follow-up to the flagship Q1 headset we...

BlueAnt Q2 Smart Bluetooth Headset

More and more countries, states and provinces are imposing new hands-free laws and if you don't have a fancy new car with built-in Bluetooth, you need some way to communicate while driving. While I agree to a point with some of these laws, it doesn't...

Very comfortable ; Good Noise Isolation DSP ; Pairs with eight devices ; Actively connects to two devices at once ; Voice command reminders can be accessed by pressing the button then saying "What can I say ; Frequent firmware updates, enhance product...

Voice recognition is not accurate in noisy environments ; Noise Isolation cannot be tweaked

This is our fifth BlueAnt headset we've looked at here at BCCHardware, and for the most part things keep getting better and better. The Q2 is the evolution of their dual-mic noise cancellation technology and the new "Wind Armor" technology as well as...

BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset

I have to say that I've had the chance to test out a few good popular Bluetooth headsets from Jawbone and others, so when BlueAnt introduced their newest Bluetooth headset called the Q2 which we have here for review, I thought it would be just another...

The Q2 has a proprietary charging port that you can charge your Q2 thru USB or plug it into the supplied wall adapter for a faster charge. I think that BlueAnt actually made the best Bluetooth headset currently on the market today. You cannot go wrong...

Read BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset

While usually not the first company that comes to mind when  talking about Bluetooth headsets, BlueAnt has been creating some reasonably priced, feature packed Bluetooth headsets for some time now.  Today we will be taking a look at one of their latest...

Text to speech app reads text messages when headset it connected ; No 25 word limit like Motorola's H17txt ; A2DP support ; Range

Built in voice commands are somewhat useless ; Power switch in a bad location ; MSRP on the high end of the spectrum

Overall BlueAnt's Q2 is a solid Bluetooth headset.  It has a lot of extra features most other headsets lack.  With more and more states passing texting while driving bans, it makes sense for heavy texters to have a headset that can read any incoming...

This upgrade to the BlueAnt Q1 adds additional voice-command features and an on/off switch.

BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset Review

The BlueAnt Q2 bluetooth headset is billed as “the best sounding headset ever built”. Well, that's a tall order. Most bluetooth headsets I've tried range from merely acceptable, to rotten. How does the BlueAnt Q2 fare, and what extras are packed on board?

Full and rich sounding incoming audio ; Voice-activated commands, text-to-speech, and more ; Hardware power on/off switch

Fit is a very personal thing. You may love it, or not ; Power switch difficult to access when headset is worn ; A little pricey (at the time of this writing)

if you want crazy loud and clear incoming audio in a bluetooth headset, and you enjoy ordering your headset around with just your voice.
