Bose AE2w Bluetooth Headphones ( Black)

Bose has been surprisingly low-key about its first Bluetooth headphones, the AE2w. I'm not sure why that is, but the company didn't announce the AE2w headphones to the press when they were first launched and it hasn't been promoting them as much as its...

The Bose AE2w Bluetooth headphones offer very good sound for Bluetooth, and they're arguably the most comfortable over-the-ear Bluetooth model. The control module is also well designed, with well-placed buttons that can be operated easily by feel alone.

Pretty pricey; protruding Bluetooth module looks a little strange; volume may not be loud enough for some people, depending on device used and type of file played.

Despite a few question marks and a high price, the AE2w headphones are a very good-sounding Bluetooth pair that's lightweight and very comfortable to wear.

Bose dips its toe into the Bluetooth headphones pool. Come on in, the water's lovely

Great sound Brilliantly comfortable

Wireless element sticks out

We don't like the lumpy receiver but the sound is smooth as silk

Bose AE2W

Super-comfy wireless headphones from Bose

Decent sound quality ; Comfortable

Ugly, large Bluetooth housing ; Slightly expensive

They look a bit odd thanks to their chunky Bluetooth module, but these comfortable, good-sounding Bose AE2W headphones are worth considering if you’re out for a pair of wireless cans.

They trump their rivals in terms of comfort, and deliver a detailed sound. But they struggle to stay poised in the higher and lower frequencies

Immersive vocals ; Open and detailed sound ; Light and comfortable ; Can connect to two devices simultaneously ; Good at blocking external noise

Slightly hard in the treble ; Bass isn’t as tight as we’d like ; Distortion at higher volumes ; Leak some sound

That doesn’t make these headphones undesirable, though.

"Comfortable, great sounding, easy to connect"

I often wear headphones at work so that I can listen to music when I am doing mundane tasks or to block out noises around me. I have a great pair of over the hear headphones however, I find that the wire running between the headphones and my computer...

+ Great sound quality, as loud as a wired set of AE2 headphones, wireless bluetooth freedom, very comfortable

- Price, bluetooth dongle is a tad large, no noise canceling feature

"Great sound. Another Bose win."

For all who complain about the lack of bass. Go to your online app store and download BASS BOOSTER APP. Problem solved! Huge fix. FREE!

Clear hi, mid and now Bass with my suggestion.

Lack of protective cover. A bag? Bose is stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime. But this should not a reason to by this superior set

Can pair with 2 devices, Volume a little low

I think these are well designed and would buy them again.

These headphones have the ability to pair with 2 devices at once which is great when I'm in the office. I pair with my music device and my iphone and it automatically detects incoming calls and pauses the music. Once the call ends, the music picks back...

The music is not as loud as I like, but I suppose that is a good thing on my ears. It's not bad, but if you're a metalhead you may wish they cranked up a little higher
