Bowers & Wilkins P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones

Bowers & Wilkins' P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones have blown away several of our long-held beliefs: First, they've demonstrated that circumaural muffs aren't the only means of isolating outside noise and preventing sound leakage in a traditional headphone...

300 list price renders them expensive; too-short cable

Pull off the magnetic ear pads and you’ll find 40mm mylar diaphragms driven by neodymium magnets. The phones come with two cables: a conventional cord with 1/8-inch jack and a ¼-inch adapter, and a second featuring an in-line remote control and...

Bowers & Wilkins P5-MFI

The Bowers & Wilkins P5-MFI headphones are a well-designed set of headphones with an upper-mid-range price point of $300. This set of stylish on-ears is meant to be portable, but their size doesn't allow for easy storage in a pocket: you'll need to...

Excellent audio performance. Extremely comfortable. Handsome design and carrying case. Relatively lightweight. Equipped with iPhone/iPod in-line remote control

Heavenly Headphones Create Symphony Hall for Your Ears

They may be constructed of metal and leather but these headphones are actually comprised of 100-percent attention to detail.

Sounds so sweet, you’ll want to re-rip your entire music library into lossless files. Memory foam earpads block a ton of ambient noise. Go ahead and wear ‘em in public — the low-profile headphones won’t make you look like a ham radio operator....

One small gripe: The tiny sub-earpad tab that holds the cable in its routing channel is poorly machined and sharp enough to cut the rubber cord jacket. Pricey? Yep. Worth it? No doubt
