Cardo Scala 700 Bluetooth Headset Review and Prices

The Cardo Scala 700 offers very impressive performance and a few handy extras. There are two features that set the Scala 700 apart from other products: battery performance and a headset locator. While most Bluetooth headsets will give you a few hours...

Cardo SCALA-700 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

Looking for a Bluetooth headset I could use driving in my convertible, I researched and bought several last summer. The Cardo Scala 700 was great in the house, but not so good in the car, which is my primary use (thus biasing my rating). I put up a...

Cardo SCALA-700 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

This headset is OK. The main beef I have with it is that the "noise cancelling" is actually a noise gate. It detects sound and opens up the circuit pathway when it senses speech, letting the background noise through along with the speech. It is...

Reliable, long talk and standby time

Sound quality both ways are tinny and unrealistic - the mic and speaker should be better, and the "noise cancelling" should be real noise cancelling and not a noise gate.

Cardo SCALA-700 Wireless Cell Phone Headset

This thing is really small and light! It seems to work well but I still find myself yelling so that the other party can understand what I'm saying. Also, the locator beeper does not work with my phone (Samsung M-500).

Product Specifications

The scala-700 headset offers the best of all worlds: lightweight and stylish, yet feature-rich and user friendly. It includes all of the advanced features one would expect in a Bluetooth headset, such as voice dial and re-dial, call waiting, conference calling, call reject, and wind and noise reduction, plus unique features that set it apart from other headsets. Toggle between two active phones: SWAP Technology allows users to easily switch the headset's connection between paired mobile phones at the touch of a button. As wireless headsets become smaller, the more comfortable and natural they are to wear. But small items often get lost among the clutter of an office, in a desk, or in clothing. So, a buzzing locator device was added. Users need only to press a button on their mobile phones to activate the locator, which initiates a series of audible tones from the headset until it has been found. Just like a mobile phone, a wireless headset too should indicate its charging status. The scala-700 does just that: with a press of a button, the scala-700's LEDs instantly display whether it's fully charged (blue), half charged (blue and red) or in immediate need for recharging (red). The scala-700 not only delivers a rich feature set, but offers extremely clear audio, even under noisy background conditions. The device's six-level volume range, speaker booster and echo-cancellation technology further enhance the headset's superb audio quality.
