Cardo Systems Scala 700 Bluetooth Headset

At 2 inches long by 1 inch wide by 0.75 inch thick, and just 0.41 ounce, the Scala 700 is very compact and lightweight. The headset is shaped like a teardrop and is cased in silver and black. A large control button with the company logo sits on the...

The Cardo Scala 700 is a lightweight headset with great sound quality, and includes noise-reduction technology, swap technology, and a headset locator. The status light, as well as the orientation of the volume rocker, can be adjusted.

The headset comes with a large earpiece that fits awkwardly.

The Cardo Scala 700 is a compact, lightweight headset with excellent sound quality. Extra features, such as a headset locator and swap technology, make it one of the better headsets we've tested.

"Nice Features, Not good with Treo 700w"

I really liked the way this headset molded to fit my ear, stayed on, and sounded great when using it. With my wife's Samsung SCHA930 and my work PPC6700 the thing works great. All the functions, voice command dialing, and hands free operation worked...

Full set of basic features, and easy to use

Does not work with my Treo 700w, have to reset settings after powering up, No tech support follow through.

"Not another cheap POS"

I work outdoors in the desert of Arizona. I wanted to research a purchase carefully so I didn't end up with buyer's remorse.

Says what it does. Does what it says.

A holster with a clip instead of a belt-loop would be nice

"Works as advertised"

At first I thought the ear loop was a bit too large as CNET said in their review. Upon further investigation the loop has a wire in it and is bendable. So that solved that worry very quickly. Was easy to set up and use as most are anymore. I cannot say...

Sound quality and great connectivity

Possibly feels kinda cheap. Wouldn't want to chance stepping on it for fear of it cracking open.

"C/W Treo 650 (Cingular); Convertible Wind Noise Technology Great; Future upgrade needs ear gel/bud."

Well I got it and want to temper my enthusiasm and some others as well. This has made great strides as a "convertible-compatible" BT headset, but there are some fine tuning that is still needed. Firstly, swap technology, have not used it so no comment....

Connectivity to Treo 650; Wind Noise for Convertibles; Speaker Volume; BT Finder

Over the ear canal speaker contour too large

"As good or better than the 500...and works with Treo!"

I had searched high and low for a unit that would work with my Treo 650 and finally zeroed in on the Scala 500. It worked beautifully but I recently lost it. So...back to the search. The Scala 700 works perfectly (as perfectly as Treo will let it) with...

Simple, effective button layout; clarity good; noise-canceling technology; long battery life; pairs simultaneously with multiple phones; lightweight; carrying case included, great price

a little uncomfortable until you get the earhook bent just right for your ear; (like many others) you have to power it back on after charging; that's about it.
