CM Storm Sirus Headphones Review

Cooler Master is a household name in the PC case world, and an established player in the cooling industry. Not content with those two areas, Cooler Master has expanded into power supplies, keyboards, mousepads, and a plethora of other accessories where...

Base is not as overwhelming as some like it, but I find it perfect.

These things are rock solid. The sound is great. Blows my razer carcharias out of the water, and all other sub $300 headphones I've tried for that matter ; Cord is very high quality ; Control pod has metal knob, well wieghted ; Great look and feel ;...

Great set for a good price!

The headset feels comfortable and sturdy, as does the volume control panel it comes with. Very happy with my purchase. (got it at Fry's, as I didn't want to wait to get some headphones. Only reason I didn't get it from Newegg! IT MATCHES MY CM STORM...

4 Speakers per headphone! Great sound, and the ability to distinguish direction and distance in games. Can hear EVERYTHING! Great driver and software suite

No game/chat volume adjustment

Cooler Master SGH-6000-KK5R1

I pretty much have a headset on me all day (freelancer so always at the comp at home), so I go through headsets fairly often, but this is the first one that ever really failed me under a year (and it's been giving me spotty issues for a month now)....

The sound was great in the 5.1 mode (never got around to trying the 7.1 virtual mode), had a decent clarity and the physical controller gives a good individual control of the placements (rear/front/center/bass) and felt comfortable on my head ; The...

Wire at the joint to the headset wore out very quickly (only had the product for roughly 7 months now) compared to other headsets I've had over the years (most will usually last me a year to a year and a half), by-feel the cabling seems very soft to...

Good Sound, not so Comfy

I swapped sibera v2's for these. I wanted surround. The sound is much better than the siberia's and true surround, but the extra weight and strain on my fat head wasn't worth it. * Within the first year the mic just completely died. RMA process wasn't...

Good Sound ; Surround baby ; Puck is nice

Mic went out in 1st year ; Uncomfortable and heavy

Great Sound

It would be nice if there was a way to control volume of a voice chat program separate from your other sound.

I love these head phones, they sound great out of the box. With a little more time spent in the EQ you can make them sound amazing. The Puck is nice and heavy and stays secure on your desk ; Also the cord is light and braided so it feels like it will...

The only con I can think if is the cord from the puck to the headset could be a little longer

Decent Headset

If you want a good headset, I would recommend it, but it fails completely when it comes to the microphone. I'd recommend buying a separate microphone if needed.

Great sound and decent volume. Ability to adjust sound from front speaker and back speaker in the headset is nice

Worst microphone on a headset. Stopped working and gave awful feedback for others within the first month of use. Had to purchase a desk microphone because the one on the headset was so awful. When it worked for the first part it was very quiet and had...

Great Sounding Headset

I bought this intending to use the 3.5mm analog connections to plug into my SB X-Fi discrete sound card. Although the audio was crisp, you can hear "board hiss" when navigating windows (clicking, moving mouse, etc.) In addition, you can't use the...

Great overall audio quality ; Positional audio in games is incredible ; Built like a tank ; Comfortable ; Mic audio is clear ; USB connection, just as good as discrete audio ; Bass boost and adjustable EQ (if using USB)

Don't buy if using analog (3.5mm) connections is a must ; Mic quality bad if using analog connections ; Cannot use the "puck" for analog connection ; analog connections (see a pattern here?) ; See review details for info about the analog connection
