Corsair Vengeance 1300 Review

Good quality headphones are essential for hardcore gamers, whether it's curiously listening to in game audio or whether it's shouting commands to your teammates. Gaming headphones follow a different vertical in terms of performance, as compared to...

The Vengeance 1300 headphones are priced at Rs.3,000. They’re primarily gaming headphones and aren’t targeted at music lovers or audiophiles. They’re stylish and the performance decently, but we weren’t particularly impressed with the comfort and fit,...

Corsair Vengeance 1300 Headset Review

Corsair releases Vengeance, a new line of headsets that replaces the old digital HS1 model, which we tested before. Let's take a look at the analog model, the Vengeance 1300.

Easy to carry ; Good sound isolation ; Comfortable headband ; Independent control unit ; Excellent voice capture

Doesn’t feature digital surround sound ; Needs equalization to enhance sound clarity and depth ; Stereo sound doesn’t allow for great sound immersion

Could be better

Certainly not worth the price. $40-50 atleast would be a more reasonable price range rather than the $80 plus taxes and shipping equalling to around $100. My $20 2.1 speakers and $30 earbuds can literally go around 5x louder, clearer sound, and more...

Thick Leather Cussion ; Tight Fit ; Comfortable

Mic is way to unsensitive (Literally have to hold the mic to your mouth for people to hear you if you don't use mic boost) ; Audio doesn't go loud at all ; Ear cups are way too big ; Barly any Bass at all

Sound is an issue

Just bought the Asus xonar dgx, major difference from onboard, but if you have extra cash a better sound card may do this headset a little more justice.

Comfortable for a little while, braided cable is a plus, cord is extremely large, drivers cover your entire ear

Ears start to hurt after prolonged use, very bad quality when pairing this with onboard sound, get a sound card if you get this headset

at first i bought the Corsair Vengeance 1500 without knowing too much about how USB headsets function.. well i was quite mad because the "built in" soundcard would cancel out my ASUS Xonar Essence STX.. my apologies if i gave it bad reviews it was my...

Cuffs are tight on the ears.. have to get used to it

Very nice

If it wasn't for the cord issues, I would have given this product 5 stars. Regardless, unless I find pair of headphones better than these for the price, I will probably wind up buying another pair when mine finally kick the bucket.

Very comfortable, quite light, and amazing sound quality ; I can war these things for hours and the only thing they do is make my ears feel a little to warm; which, is a benefit during winter :D

The only reason that I docked one egg was because as some other users have pointed out, the sound starts to fade on the left side. The good news is that it is fixable, and doesn't require you take anything apart per-say (at least with my pair) ; For...

Terrible..Downgrade from the HS1A

None

I feel as this headset is a downgrade coming from the Corsair HS1A.. Low volumes, terrible Bass and overall sound quality sounds worse. Using this headset is an insult to every sound card out there

uncomfortable, low quality sound, quiet, and after a couple of months they are already breaking

These sound terrific!!!

So it is a great buy for anyone looking to get a Gaming Headset for not too much money. You can get better, but if you don't have the best sound card, just a modern motherboard, these should work fine. Great entry level headset. Glad I bought it.

Just $60 ; Bass sounds awesome ; These headphones sound better than my Genius 5.1 surround ; Built in drivers, so plug and play ; They say you need a dedicated sound card, but I just have Nvidia High Definition audio(GTX570) and integrated sound from...

Not all that many features ; Not the 1500 which is 7.1 surround, but also have to install drivers and use USB port ; And since they aren't surround, I have to go into Realtek HD audio manager every time I use them to change the 5.1 surround setting to...
