Creative Tactic3D Sigma Headphones Review

Big name, big sound.

extremely comfortable, superb gaming performance, great mic, THX TruStudio Pro, in-line mic and volume controller

It's big, stays big, slightly short cable, mic cannot be slotted over the headband, avg music performance

The Sigma is Creative’s current flagship product that sits above the Tactic3D Alpha headphones. It uses the same tech as the World of Warcraft edition, the only difference being it has been courted off of all the clan and franchise association. Oh and...

Amazing!

My first pair of creative gaming headset I gave to a friend after two years of non stop use (stikk in great shape) since that time I've gone threw 3 sets Turtle beach (1) Thermaltake (1) and a stupid Razor all within 6 months. I work at home wearing my...

Awesome Sound! Very comfortable, and the braided cord ensures that it wont break near the cup which is normally the first place that happens. NO Inline Controls COOL that stupid Box always breaks ; Also NewEgg had this item on my front door in TWO days...

Cord could be a little longer but isn't an issue other than that you couldm ; n't ask for a better headset

Audio is good Mic is bad

The audio and software is amazing

Mic is bad, it supresses your voice to the point where you sound quiet

This headset is poor quality.

With above mentioned in mind, I considered my warranty to be fake, so I opened the headset to see what went wrong. I found that the headset's PCB has a surface mounted micro USB plug that's attached with only 2 solder points. These points easily break...

Nice look. Good quality sound; while it works

My headset stopped working about a month after I received. I tried to contact Creative Labs but got no answer from my e-mail, and their web sight seems designed to try and sell you something, or give you a new driver, instead of giving you any customer...

Broke after a month

Has great sound quality, while it works

Headset stopped working a little after a month of purchase. This is my first product purchase from Newegg, and I not impressed. I expected higher reliability from Creative Labs

One Month Dead USB

Don't throw away the box...or you might regret it, folding it away would have been easier...

Lovely headset with lovely sound. The quality of the audio was quite clear and I didn't have to have it at maximum volume to hear whispers. Most of the time I had it at half volume! The driver was quite nice to tinker with the headset's settings

I have just had a problem with this wonderful headset. The Microusb port isn't properly holding the cable, meaning the device isn't being powered up

Creative Tactic 3D Sigma review

Creative has long made soundcards, and therefore one would think that it knows what it is doing when it comes to making headphones too. So can the Creative Tactic 3D Sigma (a mouthful, but supposedly the last word when it comes to gaming headsets) be...

Sound when playing games, THX support, built-in soundcard, comfortable, detachable boom mic

Not great for music, really only best when used with your computer

We are impressed by the performance when it comes to speaking and gaming

Consumer review by:

good but is it good enough-"

I've read other reviews saying it is the cheaper cousin of the Sigma models, and I think they're right. They are a good weight, but the earpieces could bebigger. The bass is “muddy” as other people have said, and I'd agree. A good pairof regular stereo...
