I got them from a local store, instead of on Newegg, so I paid way too much. (They were still "a bargain at twice the price".)

They are affordable and last me a good long time ; They give me good sound and the mic works well ; they are not expensive high end but I can listen to my music and it sounds good to me. I can chat with my friends in game and just to chat they hear me...

this set does not have a volume control/ mic mute on them

I was looking for a good, but cheap headset for skype. And I`m so happy whit this one. The microphone has a very good quality, and the sound is also very clear, without any noise. Overall, I`m very satiesfied and recommend it!!

The title tells it. Sound is loud but terribly unbalanced and varies dramatically with position of phones on ears. Best position is uncomfortable and still too poor to use for music. At least it's loud.

Long lasting quality for the price. Can hear everything in the game that some of my buddies don't with their high dollar headsets. Focuses more on the speaker high's rather than the low's which, reloading guns, running, walking through grass, etc...,...

After about 8 months of use, the mic boom seems to lose its grip a bit but not much ; Nothing else... get some

Well I use these phones for gaming and talking to friends via yahoo messenger.. Not bad sound quality for the price and have had no negative feed back from others using the mic only that my voice sounds very clear.. All and All a very nice product...
