Didn't work for me

I ordered five of these for my family. Anything seemed better than removing the ipod from my belt to adjust levels through the cover, many times overshooting my mark and blasting my brain with maxed out volume. This was just what I was looking for...oh...

Looked good on paper

Did not work at all on two 1st gen iPod Touches ; Only the play/pause button worked on two 2nd gen iPod Touches

Did not work for my Ipod

Works with my mac and does what it is suppose to do

Didnt work for my Ipod classic as advertised

Be Gentle With It

Great device to control iPod. Be careful not to pull on the wire to get iPod out of a pocket or such, it WILL pull apart from the jack. I have done this with ear buds frequently without issue, but the remote device is more fragile than my ear buds...

Control pause, play, volume, skip forward and reverse

Delicate construction where wire is connected to jack

Something To Inspire us all!

I've owned 3+ of these deals, and I can't seem to stop buying them. Probably because of how well they seem to workin on non remoted headphones. They save my battery life on my ipod, allow much more protection on my ipod and capable of continous...

They are not indestructable. But this isn't a manufacturer issue, it's life. Headphone cords get caught in all sorts of stupid situations, ripping headphones right off your head and damaging beyond repair. I have purchases almost any and all accessory...

Is there a mic on it???

For people who are looking for this article, because they want to replace their old OEM apple earphones with mic & remote, it is not the product, for a total replacement. Because it has exactly the same functions as the apple but, THERE'S NO MIC ON IT....

iLuv - Headphone iPod / iPhone Remote Adapter (iEA15)

Unfortunately, the remote portion of the device got caught in a chair, and when I stood up, the wire came out of the remote. Shortcomings aside, this is a handy little device that I plan on purchasing again just as soon as it's back in stock.

Adds iPod/iPhone control to any pair of headphones ; Adds length to the cable (if needed)

Wire shipped kinked, not a large problem

Good deal for $15

I was a little apprehensive to buy these based on the criticism in other reviews that the wires leading to the ear buds were thin. They *do* seem rather thin and seem to be coated in a material that lends itself to kinking of the wire - I think if I...

Inexpensive...too soon to say if they're cheap. :) ; Pretty good range

works with my ipod nano and iphone 3g

The controls work all the time. One click to pause the song and double click to skip the song. Sometimes you could mis click the control and you wonder if you have actually skipped the song or paused it.

works as advertised

I like to aux output my iphone 3g phone to speaker if I make or receive a phone call. If I use this adapter while doing this, the Iphone 3g microphone does not work. I have to unplug the adapter I wish to use my car speaker as the output

Watch the compatibility list closely.

Even the box just says "Made for iPod". On the back it says "Compatible with any standard headphone/earphone models with a 3.5" jack". That's just plain untrue. Got free with JVC headphones so can't complain about price. Someday I might have a device...

Adds a little bit of extra cord length to short headphones without making them too cumbersome. Controls are fairly small so don't add much weight to the cord

The compatibility list on NewEgg is incorrect. It does not work on Ipod Classic 80gb. Wish I knew that earlier. It does at least pass sound on any device. Here's the compat. list from the manufacturer ; iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod...

Does not work

Nothing to review here. It's a 50-50 shot I think, either it'll work for you or it won't.

Does not work

Did not work at all
