Jabra EXTREME Bluetooth Headset (Titanium)

Though we've sung the praises of noise-canceling headsets from Plantronics, Aliph, and even BlueAnt, we've sadly not done so with Jabra in 2009 because we just weren't that impressed with its offerings. In fact, the last Jabra headset we were truly...

The Jabra Extreme's features include multipoint technology and A2DP compatibility. It has a dedicated power switch, and the call quality is excellent.

The Jabra Extreme has small volume controls, and it didn't feel very comfortable in the ear.

Despite our fit issues, the Jabra Extreme's advanced features, excellent noise-cancellation, and affordable price tag make it a great Bluetooth headset.

"Very Good Bluetooth Headset!! Great Value!!"

I use my Bluetooth's extensively for work and play. I normally buy the $60-$100 Bluetooth's with the protection plan with them so when there's a problem I can switch them out. So, over the years I've gone through many brands and types of Bluetooth's...

Great sound quality and features. I love the modern look and design. Dedicated on/off switch. Nice stand alone car charger that has no cords. Good battery life. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by PC World in the Summer of 2010! Great value for the price!

The ear buds intially took some adjusting to get a comfortable fit. Buttons may be a little small (but I also have larger-than-average hands).

"Quality diminished after about six months"

Greatly enjoyed the product at first, but quality declined over time. Purchased BlueAnt T1 today. Paired it with same iPhone. Tested it with the same callers who remarked on great sound quality.

Small size. Great for listening to podcasts. Unpretentious design. A2DP and call volume is very good. Good fit.

Spotty connectivity even when close to phone. Sound quality worsened over time. My callers complained about difficulty hearing me.

"Excellent for the Money"

I came from a Plantronics 975 . For the money I think it beats it, I have a large ear opening so I dont have the comfort complaint like some people do.

Very Good audio quality. I like the design of it as well, very modern.

None so far

"Good Sound Quality. Painful Wear."

I have had others, and it took me a long time to find a bluetooth with good sound quality. This has it! It does not fit my ear very well. My ear is bruised after wearing this set for about 10 minutes. If people are stating it does not hurt their ear,...

Great sound quality.

Painful to wear.

"Best I've used yet! Better than my Jawbone."

To those that experience initial discomfort...any new headset will cause your ear to have to form new calluses to get used to the pressuere...give it a chance.

-Sound Quality (on both ends) is amazing.

Short charging port, but it's micro USB, who DOESN'T have one of these already?

"Kindof Overrated"

I like having the dedicated on/off switch, other than that, it's just another bluetooth. I do like the design of the ear bud, it's very comfortable. I also like the car charger that came with it. No cords to get tangled in my glove box. Nice and...

Dedicated on/off switch. Ear bud design is very comfortable. Nice car charger has no cords.

Ear bud "hook" broke in only 6 days. Cord on wall charger is WAY too short.

"not worth ........................."

i was using Jabara 2070 since last 6 months, but my dad liked it so i gave it to him n bought jabara extreme, which cost twice as much as 2070.

definitely better sound quality , increased area of coverage

design is not at all impressive, Battery life is not that good as they claim, doesn't fit to my ear & i tried every attachment, automatic volume control is more of headache, it starts music player by default as soon as i connect it to my cell.

"Flimsy ear loop broke on first use"

The flimsy ear loop unfortunately ruins what might have been a good product.

Product unusable due to cheap ear loop.

Product unusable due to cheap ear loop which broke on first use. I'll choose a competing product. Package also appeared to lack the promised ear gels.
