Jabra M5390 USB

We love how small the Jabra M5390 VoIP headset is, but the ear clip or one headphone is not for everyone. In fact, if you plan on wearing the headset while gaming or watching a movie, we'd attach the mouthpiece to its accompanying headset. However, if...

This is the only Bluetooth headset in our lineup

This headset isn’t compatible with a Mac

The Jabra M5930 is the perfect headset for the business person on the go who likes to chat via phone and computer.

Jabra M5390

Jabra's M5390 headset connects both corded desk phones and Bluetooth mobile phones to a single Bluetooth headset. The M5390 is aimed at office staff, ...

Multiuse for desk phones, mobile phones and softphones; up to 70 metres wireless range; reasonable audio quality

Pricey; no handset-lifter included; incoming audio could be louder; background noise can affect calls

Jabra's M5390 achieves its goal of providing a headset for use across multiple devices, but the lack of an included handset-lifter is a downside, especially considering the hefty asking price.

Jabra M5390 USB

Jabra's business-centric Bluetooth headset might be pitched at the boardroom, but it made us feel like we were stuck in a call centre.

Variety of connection methods ; Headset all but impossible to lose ; Good voice quality

Lacks handset lifting capability ; Headset is huge

Jabra M5390 USB Headset

Talk-time is decent at 6 hours and standby is a massive 60 hours, with charge time being just 2 hours – very useful when you're in a hurry. Weight is 15g, making this a genuine lightweight headset.

Doesn?t work. Poor Support.

After working for just few seconds, it quits. I have followed all the user manual instructions, it still doesn?t work properly. Even after removing the old Bluetooth, it still doesn?t work. Jabra has no phone support. They have thousands knowledge base...

Large ear loop. If it works, it has long range and good sound quality

Most of the time, it doesn't work. It works for few seconds and it quits

Works with Linux Ubuntu 11.10 out-of-the-box!

I found out how to mute/unmute the Jabra microphone on the command line in Linux (need to have Pulse Audio command line interface installed): pacmd list-sources #to figure out the source id number for 'Jabra A335w OC Analog Mono' pacmd...

Out of the box, I was able to plug in the included USB dongle, pair it with the headset and start using it under Ubuntu Linux 11.10 ; Works well with Skype on Linux. also works fine with Audacity, Movie Player, and Banshee on Linux ; Good Range: I can...

By connecting up with the included A335W USB dongle, I was not able to get the mute button on the headset to function under Ubuntu Linux. It is frustrating to have to go into the control panel to mute and unmute the headset. (minus two stars on this...
