Logitech G430 Headset

The Logitech G430 gaming headset provides an immersive audio experience and effective noise canceling at a friendly $79 price.

Impressive surround sound; Noise-canceling microphone; Cozy and adjustable

Only available in blue; PC only

Immersion is a key part of the gaming experience, and the Logitech G430 delivers truly engrossing surround sound for just $79. If you want the same design in red and can live with basic stereo sound, you can find the G230 for as low as $39. However,...

Logitech G430 Headset Review

Logitech has become an icon in the gaming peripheral industry with their G-series line of keyboards, mice, and headsets. The company recently overhauled the G-series by giving it a new look, as well as announcing a slew of new gaming accessories to add...

Overall, the Logitech G430 headset is a quality product, but is it worth the $80 price tag? Yes, it is very worth it. In fact, we think the headset is worthy of a $100+, so you’re definitely getting a bargain here. However, not every product is...

Great Sound - Even Better Pricing

I have now owned this device for a few months. Have gamed for over 100+ hours on this headset alone. Now onto the Pros ; Super comfortable. The padding around the ears is very soft and comfy. The size of the cone keeps my ear off any part of the...

My only wish is that could have incorporated the auto-mute ability of the G930's mic when you move it out of position. I always adjust volume on my keyboard, so if the mute/volume buttons on the cable were gone, I would be happier. Otherwise no other...

LOVE IT

the cord is the best I've ever seen, its tangle free and wrapped in rope

Best $75 i ever spent ; light weight ; LONG cord ; nice pads, block's out ambient noise ; comfortable ; the mic is adjustable not just up and down but on the mic part itself is bendable ; you can not tell its simulated surround sound, the 7.1 is amazing

you have to be running the Logitech gaming software to have surround sound (only uses about 35 megs of memory)

Great headset

A very comfortable good sounding headset that works decently with glasses, the cord is long enough and had a fairly placed volume and mic controller. The mic has good flexibility and picks up voice great. People sometimes compliment me on my mic. I...

It finally cracked after almost a year of abuse, which is quite impressive. Everything still works fine, it's just aesthetics. Without glasses it's very comfortable, but even with them its still fine

Good bang for the buck!

Had this headset for over 6 months. Great comfort and fit for the headset. No ear sweating due to the mesh. I have a large head. Does an EXCELLENT job of surrounding your ear, you'll never hear a nagging wife or screaming kids again. Good quality...

Not an audiophiles headset. If you are gaming and the only responsible adult you'll have to play with one ear off. You literally won't hear anything but the game with these guys

Comfort and Sound Quality

Colors are cool. Critical joints are swivel or have metal/aluminum reinforcement.

The No tangle cable was a big plus for me since I move around and spin a lot in my chair. The material around the ears breathes very well. The mic sounds very clear and is not overly sensitive

The microphone is a little susceptible to "buffeting" from fans. I solved that by grabbing one of those spongy mic things from other headset I had laying around and it fixed it

Held back by adapter

If you're looking to get a new 7.1 headset I'd recommend looking elsewhere. This could be a great headset for the price if not for the usb adapter. Here's my setup recommendation if you're (like me) already stuck with this headset: 1) You have to use...

I find the headset itself to be very nice overall, mainly just the usb adapter that tends to be lacking ; I think the headset looks great, I found the ear cushions to be decent (they do get better/more comfortable after wear in) ; The inline volume and...

The headband cushion is way too narrow, to the point of being very uncomfortable. Until the cushion is broken in expect to have to take a break from wearing these every 30-45 minutes ; 7.1 only works if the headset is detected by LGS, this is in the...

Solid Headset for Price

The value of this headset is great! However, remember that you are not buying the best of the best if you are considering buying this equipment. Logitech has a gaming software & driver that you can download off their website that works good in my...

The head-set at its price / performance is pretty strong ; Depending on the circumference of the skull, it is indeed quite comfortable ; The cloth-fabric ear cuffs are great (over time) ; The sound is crystal clear ; The mic works as intended (has its...

Ear cuffs takes some wearing before you really start to feel the comfort (like most clothes I guess) ; The bass is meh (Did not dock an egg because of price vs performance.) ; The built in mic is decent, but do not try to talk with your headset away...

Not Worth Buying

At first these were very good testing quality of sound. Then trying to use programs that are VOIP like Skype or Teamspeak are a no go. According to forums the drivers are outdated and completely buggy. You cannot play any game or use any program and...

7.1 Surround Sound ; Wired ; Decent Mic

Garbage Drivers ; Only plays sound of open program ; Cushions need to be broken in or cause some discomfort
