Logitech Wireless Headset H800 Review

Logitech have been better known for input peripherals for their home entertainment solutions. They've got everything from audio solutions, speakers to all-in-one remote controls under the roof. While most of their products are for desktop and notebook...

Logitech h800 Wireless Headset Review

One headset to rule them all. Well, sort of.

Comfortable; light; nice mic implementation; supports both wireless and Bluetooth connectivity

Weak bass and treble; average sound positioning

For gaming, I tried it on two experts – Counter Strike 1.6 and Modern Warfare 3. Here, too, it felt weak, with many effects being ‘left out’ or ‘buried’ under the more prominent ones. It provided decent positioning feedback in Counter Strike, however....

Good wireless headset

The charging port on my wife's H800 broke the second or third time she charged it. The port just broke off after a regular insertion, so I'd guess there was a fault in this particular headset. Logitech, exhibiting the excellent customer service I've...

Controls are on headset, sound quality is good, battery is replaceable. The Bluetooth capability is a great feature, and links with my iPhone perfectly

The charging port isn't as robust as it should be. The micro USB port isn't recessed into the body deep enough, which allows the USB connector to bottom out in the port, rather than against the outer headset housing. This means it's possible to break...

Awesome but...

Its awesome and its my favorite headset i got. Just the sound being weird.

The heads very versitile, i can connect it to my ps3, my computer, etc etc. Bluetooth, Wireless USB. Onboard volume, play pause, mic mute. Folding. Really nice

After having it for a couple of months. Im starting to have trouble with the right speaker. It goes on and off like the wiring is messed up. While the left sounds perfect. I wish i knew how to get this fixed

Can't Complain with the Price...

For $50, I got what I expected. It works, which is surprising, but not at the function I would like it to be at. In the future I will invest on a much better headset. For those who are low on money and need a quick replacement headset, this would be an...

Wireless ; Cheap and Easy to setup ; Seems durable

Right side speaker sounds like static sometimes ; The microphone does not have a "Mic Boost" function, making me sound low to people on VoIP. Logitech provides no software to correct the problem ; The headset does not alert me when the battery is low...

Do not buy unless you want to waste money

Complete waste of $50.00

What Pros it didn't come with a Nano Receiver for USB

Complete waste of Money without a receiver of any kind. Useless for PC cell phone etc ande saying it has a nanoreceiver in the Detail tab is false advertising

Poor Range

Save your money and just get a wired headset.

Light weight, decent battery life

Range sucks - If i move 12 feet (in the same room) from the PC I start getting popping and hissing - and there is no way i can go up the stairs to let the puppy out out grab a cup of coffee making the wireless function pretty much useless ; If I don't...

Good quality

I've only owned this headset for a couple days. This headset can connect to Bluetooth, but I'm using the 2.4 Ghz usb dongle (very small). This was a refurbished product. It came in a plastic bag in a padded mailer, which I wasn't too happy with Newegg...

Good Quality sound and construction. I can't tell any difference in music quality from my older analog headsets or headphones ; Very light. I have worn this for hours, and several times I have forgotten that it was on my head (walked out of my office...

Nothing to complain about. I could complain that there was no documentation, but I did get a discount due to this being "refurbished

Still havnt received

At this point I am already in the hole hundreds of dollars from time I've had to take from my work schedule to try and fix this mess, so nothing can really be done for me to feel better.

None

It has been a week since I ordered my item, and not only have I not received it, it still has yet to leave the warehouse! Now I am a week without my purchase, and today I find out it has dropped 10 dollars in price. I attempt to live chat, and its...
