Logitech Wireless Headset H800 Review

Logitech have been better known for input peripherals for their home entertainment solutions. They've got everything from audio solutions, speakers to all-in-one remote controls under the roof. While most of their products are for desktop and notebook...

Logitech h800 Wireless Headset Review

One headset to rule them all. Well, sort of.

Comfortable; light; nice mic implementation; supports both wireless and Bluetooth connectivity

Weak bass and treble; average sound positioning

For gaming, I tried it on two experts – Counter Strike 1.6 and Modern Warfare 3. Here, too, it felt weak, with many effects being ‘left out’ or ‘buried’ under the more prominent ones. It provided decent positioning feedback in Counter Strike, however....

Connectivity problem

I had owned the Logitech H760 headset for many years until it's totally broken and assumed that the H800 would be even better. It is better in the overall design but lack stability. I would advice anyone using the H800 to use an USB extension cable for...

It's very lightweight and great sound quality on top of very comfortable ear foam. It offers Bluetooth mode or USB with NANO receiver mode for your convenience and has all the essential media control (especially "mute" button) for quick action without...

It does not wake up after the computer return from sleep mode most of the time. The quickest way to pair the headset back is to unplug the USB NANO receiver and connect back, then the headset will pair right away. Forget about the pairing software

Great little set!

Durable/flexible (wouldn't like to test it) ; Great sound quality (compared to my beats!) ; Long Battery life (I get 6+ hours) ; Longer range then 12m ; Great value ; Handy storage for micro receiver ; Very Light

Buttons are a bit glitchy with Macbook ; iPhone glitchy when using buttons ; some minor connection problems ; you should be able to us it as a USB headset also, the cord only charges ; Microphone quality not very good, good for Skype calls, not recording

Good Headset !

I do not see what everyone's problem is with these headphones. They sound good have decent range and work with the RF nano receiver or bluetooth. In my experience the call quality is second to none whether on my computer or by bluetooth on my phone. I...

Rf and Bluetooth in one headphone

Could be a little Louder

Despite other reviewers, USB dongle was included for me.

I purchased this to replace the H800 that was given to me as a gift - I broke it. The headphones did come with the usb dongle - it is stored inside the left side of the device - inside the battery cover.

USB, Bluetooth together - I can use this across all my devices ; Sound quality - not the highest quality for music, but still quite excellent ; Price ; Replaceable battery

Only real con is that it is a refurb, so one does take a chance on the longevity

h800

spend your money on a better set. I will be next go round.

wireless. decent enough battery life. can use while charging

range ; durability. - mine broke in 3-4 months of normal use. never dropped, or thrown... crackled like mad one day, then stopped the next

Consumer review by:

No receiver included

The lack of information makes this unclear, so much for a wireless headset.

Discounted price

Does not come with a Nano receiver or USB recharging cable which would normally come with the H800

Not high fidelity, but functional

Most of these were probably returned for the crackling issue, which is a limitation of the medium, not an actual hardware problem. I assume they're not actually checking the batteries, so beware. Yours may have a similarly short charging life. Since...

Comfortable, functional enough for VOIP. Bluetooth / MiniTRX switch means I can switch seamlessly to my phone and back. I saw one reviewer mention that his did not come with the mini dongle, but mine was in the compartment on the left earpiece

After two months, I've learned that Intel speed-step may reduce the power and/or bandwidth to the USB port, which in turn reduces the wireless bandwidth to the headset, resulting in crackling from one or both sides ; Cramming the dongle into a USB3...
