Motorola Finiti

Editors' note, December 9: After further review and comparison with other headsets in its category, we've dropped the Finiti's rating to 8.0.

The Motorola Finiti has "stealth mode," a bone conduction technology that completely blocks out environmental noise. It also has features like multipoint, A2DP streaming, voice controls, and compatibility with an Android app that reads out incoming...

The Motorola Finiti has a tiny multipurpose call button. The MotoSpeak app is currently only for Android and could be improved. Voices in stealth mode sound a little overly processed.

The Motorola Finiti is a definite improvement over its predecessor, with lots of high-end features and amazing audio quality.

The headset has plenty of controls. A pair of volume buttons, the main LED, and a stealth mode button are embedded in the top edge. The bottom edge contains a hardware power switch, while the back edge houses the micro-USB multi-function Call button...

Comfortable. Good sound through the earpiece. Useful companion mobile app

Poor quality transmissions through the microphone. Stealth mode is a bust. Looks cheap

Motorola is going to have to do better than the Finiti, an average-quality headset that's too expensive for what it offers.

"On my third one don't hold up well."

When it works it works great. Unfortunately, I went back to my old school Jawbone headset. Doesn't have all the features however it is dependable.

Great fit sound and functionality. Love the voice caller id function.

I have returned three to Motorola. They just stop working and make a weird humming sound. Also, sometimes they disconnect for no apparent reason.

"ONE OF THE BEST SO FAR !!!"

I've used MANY headsets and all them were $100 plus. I got this one for $60 on Ebay. It took me 2 weeks to get used to the fit,but now its all good. The "stealth mode" really..really works. You may sound a little funny but it works! My last headset was...

Sound,the weight,and functions.

Comfort is a hit or miss.

"All bluetooth headsets suck; this one sucks less."

The best I've used for high ambient noise environments.

Doesn't work with G'Zone Boulder

I tried two of these with my Casio phone and both caused the Casio to keep rebooting after I paired them. I liked the solid fit but don't know if it would have been comfortable over a few hours. I was looking for a sound upgrade from my older...

Never worked so can't say. Fit is secure, but don't know if it would have been comfortable over a long period. Motorola needs to get the firmware upgraded as so many are reporting problems

Causes my G'Zone to keep re-booting

"The lamest headset I have ever known"

Don't buy this headset. I don't know how its rating from the Editors is so high.

Shiny, looks pretty nice

1. Ear pieces not comfortable. 2. Ear hook broke after several months of easy use. 3. "Stealth mode" sound quality terrible for the listener. 4. Lackluster software for Android. 5. "Voice control" to answer incoming calls slow to react. 6. Treble of calle
