Motorola H680 Wireless Headset (Midnight)

Motorola has usually had a healthy cell phone accessory lineup to complement its cell phones, especially with Bluetooth headsets like the Motorola H9 Miniblue and the Motorola H700 . Recently, Motorola has released yet another tiny Bluetooth headset,...

The Motorola H680 is small, lightweight, and has a stylish design. It comes with a portable carrying case for more battery life.

The Motorola H680's sound quality is a little patchy at times, and we wished the fit were a bit more secure.

Despite a few quibbles in performance, the Motorola H680 is an affordable yet stylish Bluetooth headset with a long battery life.

Motorola H680 Bluetooth Headset Review

Motorola H680 Bluetooth headset review

Motorola have set their sights on the female market with a "frost" floral edition of their H680 Bluetooth headset. But does this touch our feminine side? To pitch the H680 to the female market, Motorola have redesigned the surface of the Bluetooth...

Design, charging case, power switch

No PC charge cable

With nothing to criticise, and a price that is realistic, there is little to fault this headset

Compact stylish design, simple to use, can be worn on either ear, comfortable

Poor outgoing sound quality

The H680 is well designed and has reasonable incoming sound quality, but its let-down by poor outgoing sound.

Lightweight, easy to use, pairs easily

I overall like the H680. I guess it will take some getting used to having to use a cradle. I think Motorola could have done better by having a direct connect to a standard mini USB cord. That way one can recharge in the car. So this is a major...

Paired easily, fits well in ear, lightweight, clear audio, large vol buttons, on/off switch

Cradle vs mini USB port. Would rather have a USB charger for car. Range from cell not very good

"What Phones Work This?"

Not everybody can keep up with all of the techno hype. I had been using my cell phone with one of the cheap wired Bluetooth copy-cats but discovered it needed sound amplification. So I see this thing on display at Big Lots and id claims it is...

None, it will not work with my Motorola flip cell. $30.00 I want back.

Packaging claims it is compatible and tested with over 200 cell phones. This gives customers the false assumption it will work with cell phones that are not compatible with it like mine!

"I did not order this bluetooth. Motorola is screwed-up."

I like the look and feel of this unit. I will try it today. I have been trying to get a bluetooth from Motorola for 3 weeks. They screwed up 5 times.

Now that I finally have a complete unit due to Motorola's incompetence, I can finally use it.

Motorola cannot complete an order correctly. I had to order 4 blueteeth to get one complete unit with charger.

Product Specifications

The smart design of the Motorola H680 is complemented by its stylish and functional charging case. Premium materials and finishes on the headset make a striking statement, while the fashionable case completes the look. About half the length of a tube of lipstick, the H680 is petite and lightweight. The headset's vacuum metal sides and high gloss finish top make a striking statement, while the case's silver vacuum metal base and clear cover complete the stylish package. Fits easily in your pocket or straps on to your bag or purse. The case charges and helps protect the headset without sacrificing style for function. Place the H680 in the case and plug in your wall charger or car charger (sold separately) to power the headset. The clear cover can be removed to act as a desktop stand or for easy access in the car. Continued expertise in Bluetooth headset ergonomics means the latest speaker and ear bud/ear hook innovations. Interchangeable ear buds help provide unrivaled wearing comfort and audio quality with closer placement to the ear. Rotating ear hook allows you to point the microphone directly towards your mouth so those on the other end of the conversation can hear more clearly, too. Discreet, lightweight size enhances the attractiveness of the overall design yet doesn't sacrifice performance. Enjoy generous battery life from comparably sized headsets with up to 8 hours talk time. Continue talking at your own pace, up to 10 m (33 feet) from your compatible Bluetooth enabled phone. Bluetooth wireless technology gives you the freedom.
