Motorola HF800 Bluetooth Speaker review

Handfree doesn't have to mean wearing one of those silly headsets. We look at Motorola's answer to the problem - a Bluetooth wireless speaker. The bundle includes the speaker, lanyard, car charger and neoprene open fronted case, with clip. The unit...

Cheap, quick in car/ roaming solution. Supports 3-way calling

Expect background noise. No mains charger. Too many commands via one button

An alternative to headsets, with 10-metre range that will store up to 8-paired devices, but limited by overall sound quality

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

I love my HF-800 Bluetooth Speaker. I get good, quality sound, and the other parties can hear me clearly also. I set my phone for auto-answer when connected to the speaker, and set a special ring tone. When I hear the special ring, all I have to do is...

Quality sound. Compact size. Clips to sun visor. Automatic shut-off. Long battery life.

None noted.

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

First off I'd like to comment that this doesn't decrease the battery life of my phone by much at all. It's not a fault of the device but the phone itself because bluetooth does take a lot of power. and a FYI the phone I am using this with is the Sony...

Louder than cell phone's speaker. Portability

Flashing bluetooth light gets annoying.

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

This is a great hadfree speaker device for a bluetooth enabled phone. It is great to use in the car instead of a expensive complete handsfree car kit. I do not like to have the bluetooth in my ear all the time so I have this as a alternative and it is...

Great handfree cordless speaker device.

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

I purchased the unit for use in the car and on my motorcycle. In the car the unit works well, although the speaker is a little weak. If you are hard of hearing, like me, the unit's volume is not quite adequate. The unit has port to connect a headset,...

Connects very quickly to the cell phone and stays connected.

The speaker is small is difficult to hear if there is road or wind noise. Battery stand-by time could be longer.

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

This is an overall good product with some weaknesses. It serves the purpose of handfree speaker phone in car. Being wireless is a good advantage. It remains connected to bluetooth phone, hence no time delay in call conections.

Light weight, smart design, redial function, mute function, 3-way calls. No installations needed.

No car charger included, no option to stick it on a surface, blinking blue light.

it is a nice replacement of earphone when driving a car; loud enough to hear voice even with window opened. once it connects with a phone, it cannot be turned off until disconnect from the phone; other than that i really enjoy it.

clear and loud sound,

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

The moto HF800 is absolutely excellent for those who want to take advantage of the wireless setup in their car. Unless you get a car charger, you are going to have to take it out of the car to charge it. It's easily transferrable and wearable on the...

good signal strength, charges fast, good sound quality

unit could be smaller

Motorola HF-800 Bluetooth Handfree Speaker

The sound quality of this speaker is much better than the Jabra SP100 that I tried first. The Jabra was good at home with very good volume control at home, but was lousy in the car. The voice was breaking too much to be even usable. Finally returned it...

Simple to use,Reasonable sound quality even in the car,Highly portable,Short charging time

Too many functions built into one button (if someday I want to use them)
