Motorola Universal Bluetooth Headset (Black)

Motorola continues its trend of making tiny Bluetooth headsets with the Motorola H17. As a successor to the H15 and the H12 , Motorola touts the H17 as one if its smallest headsets yet. The reason it can be so small is because it has a flip-switch boom...

The Motorola H17 is a small and compact headset with a flip switch boom mic, a decent fit, and good call quality. It also has multipoint technology and it only needs a 15-minute charge for 2 hours of talk time.

The Motorola H17 has tiny volume controls.

The Motorola H17 is a simple headset with good sound quality for most everyday situations.

Motorola Motopure H12 Bluetooth Headset

This stylish Bluetooth headset has a clear earhook and comes with desktop and travel chargers, but doesn't pick up the user's voice well.

Stylish design

Poor sound quality

In the end, you can find a number of better, albeit less stylish, headsets on the market

Motorola Motopure H12

Blending high style with excellent noise-cancellation technology, the Motopure H12 is a superlative Bluetooth headset.

Motorola MotoPure H12

At just 0.4 ounces (that's point 4 ounces) the 1.5-inch MotoPure H12 is one of the more comfortable Bluetooth headsets I've ever stuck in my ear. But,

Extremely comfortable Bluetooth headset cuts background noise like diamond encrusted razor. Sleek, attractive design makes it a cool fashion accessory. Long rechargeable battery life of up to eight days on standby and some five hours talk time....

Static and dropouts occur at even short distances between the phone and the headset (Bluetooth should have a roughly 30-foot range). Troublesome pairing with phones using different Bluetooth standards

Motorola H12 Motopure Bluetooth Headset

Motorola first implemented its CrystalTalk technology with its handsets, like the Razr2 V8 and the Razr2 V9 . This noise-reduction and adaptive-speaker technology has improved call quality for these handsets, and now Motorola wants that same technology...

The Motorola Pure H12 is a very attractive Bluetooth headset that comes with a portable charging cradle plus a desktop stand. It also has a great comfortable fit.

The Motorola Pure H12's performance does not match up to its promises--call quality was patchy and unpredictable.

The Motorola Pure H12 is a beautiful and affordable Bluetooth headset, but we wish that it had better performance.

Motorola MOTOPURE H12

Are you calling from the bottom of a swimming pool?" the airline reservation agent patiently asked me. No, in fact, I was using Motorola's new MOTOPURE H12 Bluetooth headset, the company's first headset with CrystalTalk noise cancellation and voice...

Very comfortable. Simple controls

Poor sound quality. No perceptible noise cancellation

Motorola strikes out with a headset that advertises noise cancellation but doesn't deliver.

Motorola MOTOPURE H12

Motorola's MOTOPURE H12 Bluetooth headset doesn't live up to the promise of advanced noise cancellation.

"False Low Battery Warnings"

If you browse the Motorola forums you will find that the false low battery warning is a known condition to users, but it appears Motorola is pretending it does not exist.

1234567890

Generates a false low battery warning at random times when the battery level is still high. Beeps in your ear to warn you of low battery and makes conversation difficult. Turn it off then back on and it suddenly realizes that the battery is NOT low after

this is the second one i have purchased and will do so again. i have owned several ear pieces in the past and this by far is the best one i have had. i have used it on a full charge and after the 15 minute charge. the battery life is excellent and...

Product Specifications

Minimal size, maximum audio performance and style. The MOTOPURE H12 is the ultimate in clarity, luxury, freedom and comfort. The first Bluetooth enabled headset with Motorola's audio-enhancing CrystalTalk for headsets technology, the MOTOPURE H12 allows users to hear better and be heard. The MOTOPURE H12 headset also has the smallest Motorola external speaker to-date, assuring 'fits-like-a-glove' comfort and elegance thanks to its TrueComfort ear bud design and high gloss finishes. The MOTOPURE H12 features Motorola's proprietary CrystalTalk for headsets technology, which makes it possible to have natural phone conversations in dynamic noisy environments. It uses two microphones to separate the user's voice from background and wind noise, enhancing the user's voice and channeling pure, clear audio directly into the user's ear. The MOTOPURE H12 feels as good as it looks and sounds. The TrueComfort design is the result of an intensive two-year ergonomic measurement study of the human ear, research that spanned age, sex and race. The result: a fit that is optimized around comfort, style and audio performance. Perforated alloy bezel and diamond-cut metal, high gloss accents and a soft touch side housing deliver a discreet yet stunning headset. Minimalist and sleek, the H12 is smaller than a lipstick or golf tee and weighs only 12 grams. The H12 comes with matching desktop charger, charging case and carrying solution - a complete solution to carry, help protect, and charge in style.
