Plantronics BackBeat 903+ Headset

Even though stereo Bluetooth headsets have been around for a while, they haven't always been of the highest caliber. Thankfully, a few companies stepped up to change that, as Altec Lansing did in 2009 with the BackBeat 903 . It was one of the best...

The Plantronics BackBeat 903+ offers decent music playback quality and a design that is best suited for workouts. Improved features include voice alerts and a battery meter on the iPhone.

The Plantronics BackBeat 903+ has a behind-the-neck design that may not suit everyone. We also experienced subpar call quality.

The Plantronics BackBeat 903+ certainly has more features than its predecessor, but the rest of the design suffers from the same problems.

BackBeat 903+ Review

Plantronics' BackBeat headphones have been around for some time now, with the company gradually evolving the design and hardware to keep the stereo Bluetooth headset ahead of the game. The latest iteration is the BackBeat 903+, packing the newest...

Considering the improvements in build, audio performance and usability over the headset it replaces, and the fact that Plantronics have kept the price at $99.99, we’re finding it tough to criticize the BackBeat 903+. Yes, if you’re a glasses wearer it...

A Great Idea Slightly Unperfected

I received my Plantronic 903 headset for Christmas, and have been regularly using it since then. It is a capable little headset that performs well at most functions and just average at others. All in all I believe it to be a quality purchase ...

Comfortable, easy to use, good sound

Cheap charger, spotty voice quality

Plantronics BackBeat 903+

With the available GPS streaming and added voice alerts, the wireless BackBeat 903+ earbuds from Plantronics are great for casual listeners. Unstable design and call quality are drawbacks, but you are sure to reap other benefits with the 903+ earbuds.

Voice support will alert you of an incoming call, tell you the volume level, connection status, time and more

The neck design is not made for everyone and the call quality is subpar at best

These earbuds are poorly designed but come with a large feature set.

"Almost useless, it moves too much."

I switched to Plantronics backbeat go which are much better. At least I don't lose them during walking

Wireless, (not even too much) compact

Won't stay in place (when you wear it and when you don't wear it)

"Fantastic device.!"

Excellent unit, worth every penny. In the new configuration, affordable and a bargain for the features included.

Sound quality, ease of use, adjustable fit, sturdiness and durability, cool design. Very affordable.

Needs to be refit with virtually every usage, but this is no big thing.

"Great headset! Have had a lot of good use"

I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a high convenient device that functions both as wireless headphones and a hands-free headset, for phone or for gaming. It certainly is durable, and the 7 hour battery life makes the deal. Not the...

Paired easily with my phone, ps3, and laptop. All of the controls work well. I have had this headset for over 6 months, and used it heavily. Taken it running and kept it in my pocket; hasn't broken. Long (7 hour) battery life. Good microphone

After about 2 hours of straight use, sometimes it will feel slightly uncomfortable. The sound quality is good, but nothing amazing or exceptional.

"Decent sound, but a total pain to fit to your ears."

Decent price, good sound, but not worth it in the long run because of the hard fit.

The sound is good, the construction is good quality and they don't feel flimsy. Good battery life and easy to charge; some cell phone chargers will work, so one less cable to carry.

Very hard to fit to your ears. They include different size earpieces, but it's hard to get a good fit. And once you do, you have to start all over if you have to take them off. And if you wear glasses, forget it.

Excellent headset!

Definitely worth the price. Love the headset.

Very good sound (not excellent). Easy and convenient controls. The voice messages for remaining listening time and battery are great. Very comfortable and not heavy. Love the earpiece. Works flawlessly with iPhone. Really like the long battery life

The music occasionally has 'skips

awfully painful right ear!!!! Discomfort

lightweighted

my goodness, i am having constant pain with my right ear, no matter how i adjust the earpiece. I would not recommended this for anyone, unless, plantronics is able to provide the wearer a free trial of 3 days before sales confirmation
