Plantronics BackBeat Go Review - Almost the Perfect Bluetooth Earbuds

A few months ago at the Samsung Galaxy S 3 announcement event, I noticed another mobile editor wearing a pair of Bluetooth earbuds that were unlike any other I had previously seen. For a while now, if you wanted to use Bluetooth A2DP to listen to...

Plantronics BackBeat Go

The Plantronics BackBeat Go is a comfortable, extremely unobtrusive, wireless stereo Bluetooth earphone set that works equally well for voice calls and music.

Comfortable. Lightweight. Excellent voice quality and noise suppression in both directions. Tangle-free cord really works. Clear midrange and high-end when listening to music

Ultra-soft earbud tips make it difficult to get the right fit. Some cable thump when walking. Thin bass response

Plantronics offers MyHeadset, an Android app that adds a battery headset meter when connected to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablets or Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)-powered phones. The BackBeat Go also added one automatically to the iPhone 4 I tested...

Plantronics BackBeat GO

The BackBeat GO from Plantronics is simple and moldable, designed with a cord that stays out of your way whether you are working in the yard or working out. If you want to switch between devices, you need to re-pair the earbuds each time you switch. We...

Digital signal processing isolates noise and keeps the sound crisp and clean, even during phone calls

These earbuds can only be paired with one device at a time, and they don't recognize devices you've already paired them with

These earbuds pair well with almost any device and give you clear, distinct sound on both music and calls.

"Problem keeping connection with Mac"

They don't keep the connection. I have to re-establish connection almost every time I use it. Sometimes they disconnect for no reason after a while.

"These are hands down the best Bluetooth headphones"

Take the bad reviews about this product with a grain of salt. I read the reviews but I am always scepticle about Cnet reviews because, lets face it Cnet is about as biased as they come. If you buy these from Amazon.com, you can try them out and if you...

1. Incredible sound 2. longevity of battery. 3. No strings to hold you down 4. solid construction and intuitive design 5. great fit when using the right size ear pads 6. don't read the user review that gave this product one star, that user is dumb

The ear pads that came with the Backbeat Go are useless. If you have a pair of Klipsch s4's or s4i's or s4A's use the pads that came with them that fit you the best. I did that and these things stay in and have amazing sound quality.
