Overall, this is a balanced headset, but it does not have anything that really sets it apart.

For ME (Window's 7, 64bit ) it defaults to 5.1 on computer restart, I need to remember to set config to 7.1 when playing BF3, config is easy with shortcut to Window's Sound Control Panel. 15 seconds at the most and your good to go

Massive cans, good sound quality, and a serviceable microphone. The build quality is also quite good. The USB cable is thin but ruggedized, which is nice since that is usually the first part of anything to get ruined
