I have been using headsets by Plantronics since 1993 - and have used this model for 8 years. It does not plug up your ear, so the sound is a bit far. But if you want to be able to hear others around you and take calls - this is the best. No earaches,...

The item does come with a plug that fits a regular handset plug. It has a quick disconnect but no adapter so it can be used out of the box.

The earpiece does not fit snug enough to the ear. It sticks out away from the ear so you have to press it against your ear to hear the person, unless they are shouting.

Poorly made. Doesn't come with a phone adaptor to plug it in to your phone. You need to order THAT from the manufacturer @ another $40.
