Roccat Kave Headset Review

Foldable model features 5.1 surround sound and comes with an independent unit for volume control. See how the headset fared in our test.

Good surround performance ; Microphone tip indicates mute status ; Independent volume control for each sound channel ; Foldable and portable body

Small opening for the ear ; At this price, it could include a carrying bag

Roccat Kave Gaming Headset

Today we are going to look at the ROCCAT Kave gaming headset which features real surround sound with three speakers in each earpiece. It also has an inline control which allows you to adjust volume settings for each channel in-game.

Awesome

When it comes to ROCCAT products I agree with this one, but some of their mouses have false advertisement....

Very stylish and the design matches my custom gamer and graphic PC. Sounds good and even better on gaming. The surround sound makes you feel as if your in the environment of the game. It comes with a control mixer which allows you to customize the...

Does not have a internal voice changer but over all I recommend it

Good for a very short amount of time.

I wasn't expecting a $100+ German headset to be built so poorly. Not worth it at all.

Great sound

They headphones started to make static noises when I moved my head after about 6 months. It seems like something came loose inside the headset ; The mic completely stopped working after 5 months, but ROCCAT sent me a replacement for free

Too much for too Little

Do not purchase

Clear Sound, Clear Mic....THE END

First got the headset, the right rear speaker was not working. Was going to RMA then all of a Sudden it started working so I ignored it. Then it stopped and I did not feel like going through the hassle of a RMA once more as I also threw away the box ;...

Just under 5 months

Comfortable

Random burst of static in right ear cup when ever I move my head. That means there has to be a short in the cup somewhere ; When they were working they were an amazing headset

Great Headset!!!

If it wasn't for the hissing, I would have given it a perfect 5 stars.

It's Amazing! Adjustable. A little big but still portable. I like that I can carry this thing around and still get 5.1 sound, whether I'm away or if I want to cancel out loud noises so I can get some work done

To me there is a noticeable hisssing sound. It's not as noticeable when playing music, movies, or games, but it is there when things are quiet

Awesome headset

Owned a SB Fatality headset as well as a SB sigma 3D headset and this headset is just so much better. You will notice the difference coming from other headsets. I did a lot of research before purchasing this headset and most say this headset is the...

Had this headset for almost 3 months now and have no problems whatsoever. The hiss people are saying doesn't happen when the headset is connected to my pc. I do hear the hiss when it's connected to my 360 using an adapter. This headset is true 5.1 and...

I noticed the bass isn't too good, but I'm using custom drivers on my SB titanium so the bass is boosted. Also the headset is uncomfortable compared to my other headset, but not bad enough for me to dock an egg for it. I can wear it for 2 hours+ with...

Second Review..still hissing

Do not waste your time or money on these not worth it.

NONE dont buy these

Sound is fine if you like a hiss with everything that you listen to. If your have more attuned ears you can hear it 100% of the time and it makes for a poor headset. Everything has been checked including interference and none of that changes and it has...

the Best or something like IT?

I've tried these with my on-board ASUS sound...and my HT Omega 7.1 Striker. I've had better luck reproducing spot on sound with the HT add-on sound card than the on-board sound. But the difference isn't terribly noticeable. Do note, that you will need...

I've owned many high end headsets, but this one is set apart. The surround sound is true...meaning you can certainly tell that the sound is enveloping you. Front, sides, and rear sounds are presented here...as for the sub...the vibration is a nice...

Over the ear cans seem to be the answer to most audiophiles these days. But the Kave like some others high quality high priced headsets don't quite get the band right over the head. The cushions on the band are very well made and each feel their own...
