Gaming headphones which tick all the right boxes for a realistic experience

Sennheiser G4ME ZERO PC gaming headset

The name might be trying a little too hard, but these new high-end gaming headphones from Sennheiser have a lot of great features.

At $399.95 the G4ME ZERO headset ($369.95 for the G4ME ONE model) is going to be entirely out of range for many gamers and we wonder if we should be getting better than leatherette cup materials at that kind of price. But if you have that kind of money...

Labs Brief: Sennheiser G4me Zero

Sennheiser deliver another audio knock-out blow.

The G4ME Zero may have a name that still annoys the hell out of us, but they are not only light and very comfortable, but the memory foam earpads used in this sound isolating model are highly effective. We are less sold on the large unmoveable...

Sennheiser G4ME Zero Headset Review

Today we are going to take a look at another gaming headset from Sennheiser, the G4ME Zero. Like the G4ME One we reviewed recently, this model is targeted at the premium segment of the gaming market a...

Impressive build quality ; Attractive design ; Very comfortable ; Quality carrying case included

Hollow sound ; No virtual surround sound ; Expensive

KitGuru says: We would avoid this particular headset and go for the G4ME One instead.

SENNHEISER G4ME ZERO

really glad I bought this on sale when they first came out, its held up really well after daily use!

Comfortable to wear ; great mic ; sound quality is overall very nice for chatting and gaming

takes 150 ohm so an amp is needed to power it ; bass is quieter than I'd like

SENNHEISER G4ME ZERO

Sennheiser's sound quality is always amazing, and this headset is a lot sturdier than some of their lower end products. My last sennheiser was the pc230 and the mic broke after I accidentally left it in my chair and sat on it for half a second...

High quality mic and sound ; Extremely comfortable after you break it in (first couple months have the 'sennheiser clamp' which can cause a headache, but after that it's pretty much form fitted to your head. The foam used in the headband and ear-pads...

The cost. Even on sale this puppy will be expensive, so definitely don't get it if you're looking for something on a low budget. Personally though, the cost is more than worth the quality

Excellent headset with an even better microphone.

Like I stated above, unless your motherboard or sound card has some headphone amp I suggest going out to buy one. I tested the headset on my laptop and they sounded pretty quiet at maximum value. If you're willing to spend $200 on a gaming headset...

Geez, I expected the microphone to be good for a gaming headset of this price but wow... do the noise cancelling on these babies do their work. One of the best microphones I've used on a headset so far ; Incredibly comfortable for extended hours of use...

You will most likely need an amp or sound card with a headphone amp to get the most sound quality out of it since it is a 150 ohm impedance headset ; The cable on the left side of the headset sometimes hits my shoulder. Not a big deal and can be easily...
