Sennheiser RS 160 wireless headphones

Superb quality over wireless as never experienced before.

Great quality when compared to other wireless headphone brands. Extremely comfortable fit for almost everyone

A little low on the bass thump. The volume controls can be a little hard to use

If you used to hate wireless headphones because they could never offer the quality of a wired headset, the Sennheiser RS 160 has been built for you. Within a range of 20m, this headphone will give superb audio quality to rival the best corded...

Best wireless headphones for home theater

Reviewers say that the new Sennheiser RS 160 headphones are the best home-theater wireless model for the price. They use new Kleer wireless technology to stream lossless, CD-quality audio without interference. Their on-the-ear design features thick...

Very good sound quality, comfortable for extended use, excellent reception, good range

Hard-to-reach controls, uneven bass performance, expensive

Love the sound, but some things left desired

Sennheiser has great sounding tech, and if I was rating just on sound these would 5+ eggs. This set deserves better ear cups and cushion than the kind you'd find on the cheapest no-name kit. Please bring back real switches and rotary pots and spare us...

No hiss, no static, no tuning needed. Range for me is decent with line of sight in an area that is RF congested ; The bass seems tight and balanced, with very clear mids and detailed highs. There is nothing 'tinny' about this set, and listening to it...

My biggest gripe is the controls and indicators for the set ; Lack of an actual 'off' switch: In order to power off/on, you have to hold the button for about two seconds. Not holding the button can result in merely muting the headset. I'm one of those...

Very good wireless headphones

Some people have mentioned that the buttons are hard to press/find. They are obviously not trying hard enough, there are only three and a quick feel can easily determine each one. This is a non-issue for anyone with common sense.

Sound: Very good high quality sound in all ranges. Bass is not overpowering, but they are definitely capable of delivering booming bass ; Range: Slightly shorter than I was expecting (through walls), though it is able to handle any size room you want...

I wish there was some sort of battery indicator for both the headphones and the transmitter

not so much

If a cable came with it would have rated it 5 stars,.

sound good when in range

range 40 ft., don't really work through walls, even plain sheetrock. Very light, fragile and cheap feeling compared to my RS 140's. No balance control

DISAPPOINTED

Disappointed that proper cable to connect tv to transmitter was not included...If I had known I would have purchased another manufacturer. Sony includes all necessary cables..

Comfortable

Sennheiser - Wireless Stereo Surround Sound Headphones w/ transmitter (RS 160)

I'm a hobbyist audiophile, and as far as headphones go, I rate these somewhere between the $250 Denon's and the $800 Stax that I've listened on recently. I'm very impressed with the overall sound quality, and from a wireless set! I can't wait to try...

Clear (Kleer) CD quality sound from a wireless headphone! Simple setup and connectivity along with good sound quality make these as good or better than many wired headphones in the same price range

A little stiff in the adjustments, and the main band and other components are a little bit cheap plastic feeling. Other than that, no complaints after a week

Too little bang for the buck

Pros would have to be, good range, good through the wall reception, clear sound,no hissing, and comfortable.Cons? Unless your good at reading braille you have to take the headset off to find and adjust volume buttons. It comes with 4 adapters to plug in to...
