Sennheiser MM 80i Travel

Solid audio performance. Excellent passive noise reduction is perfect for blocking out background din. Built-in controls for iPhones and iPods

Ear hook is a slightly awkward fit solution. Control buttons are too close together, so it's easy to press Play/Pause when you're trying to adjust the volume. Hardwired cable

Sonically, the Sennheiser MM 80i Travel earphones live up to the company's strong audio legacy, but some design choices and a too-high price bring this pair down a notch.

Sennheiser MM80i

At $229 MSRP, the Sennheiser MM80is aren't a bad pickup if you're looking for a decent set of headphones to replace your stock iPhone earbuds, and aren't looking to sacrifice on functionality. These headphones do have their drawbacks, but overall the...

Super easy to maintain ; Comfortable for in-ears

Mediocre frequency response ; Some cable noise issues

Decent audio performance and functionality, a good pickup if you’re willing to spend.

Sennheiser MM80i

Decent audio quality, and not a bad pickup if you're willing to spend for them

Super easy to maintain; Comfortable for in-ears

Mediocre frequency response; Some cable noise issues

While the MM80is aren’t the best pair of headphones we’ve ever reviewed, they do offer a much-improved performance over the iPhone 3G S earbuds, which they were designed to compete with. Though you’re not going to look like an Apple fanboy/girl if you...

Sennheiser MM 80 for iPhone

Sennheiser packs a great sound into these tiny speakers, but other design quirks annoy us, and you might find the 3.5mm connection incompatible with non-Apple products.

Excellent, balanced sound ; Comfortable fit

Detachable hands-free ; Compatibility with non-Apple products ; Expensive

Sennheiser hasn't faltered in delivering an excellent sound, but we're put off by a few choices in design. Match this misgivings with the MM 80's significantly higher price tag and we're left thinking the older MM 50s are probably a better option for...

Sennheiser’s PC11 headset travels well

The Sennheiser PC11 is a lightweight single-sided, over the ear, headset that, unlike conventional headsets, one can put on and taken off with one hand. Consequently, it is very convenient to use -- especially for road warriors who will also appreciate...

At £17.95 on Amazon it is competitively priced and should be within most people’s budget. However, I feel that many people would be prepared to spend the small amount extra that would have been required in providing a shirt clip and some form of simple...

Don't bother

What pros

Microphone pickup and volume is pathetic. Monaural speaker is even worse. Scratchiness and static abound on both input and output. Uncomfortable earclip and a foam pad even cheaper than most
