Sennheiser PC 140 and PC 150 headsets

Headsets - headphones with a boom microphone - are, as I've mentioned before, easy enough to find, and usually quite nasty. It seems to be generally assumed that people who need a headset do not also need decent audio quality

worse than either of these headsets, and seem satisfied enough. If you're not a headphone snob, you'll probably be quite happy with the sound of either of these

Lasted for three weeks.

Learned my lesson and bought a better headset from Newegg and have had it since.

Decent sound and lightweight

Uncomfortable with more than 45 minutes of wearing ; I knocked them off my table by accident, which is 4 feet off the ground, and the mic snapped off (on carpet). How they managed to do that still confounds me

Okay, but flawed

I'd recommend this headset to people who don't use the mute that much and don't have big hat sizes (and who knows what hat size they have, anyways...)

Lightweight, it's got a good fit for people with average or small heads. Pretty durable and the noise canceling is above average

Muddy base response, mic makes a white noise broadcast when muted or unmuted. Don't use if you have a big head - literally :)

Great Sound Quality at a Good Price

Great Sound Quality at a Good Price

Sennheiser, my main man. We bought a different "gamer" headset that was way more expensive because we assumed that the higher price would be better quality. WRONG. So we returned that headset, and bought this cheaper one. We have had other,...

Good

Long cord. The shape of the "over-ear" is perfect. Sound is fine, it works well for the price

Mute switch doesn't always turn back on, has to be wiggled ; The frame, that goes around behind the head is VERY flexible, and it feels like its going to twist/snap/break each time i take them off

Good, could use a little more padding in the ears.

Good, could use a little more padding in the ears.

Setup was effortless (I plugged it in and it worked). I use it with Skype and Webex and it works perfect. The padding on the ears is not as comfy as my Sennheiser HD 555's but I am not naive enough to expect that as these were less expensive. I...

Surprisingly good

Surprisingly good

Let me start by saying I am not a music major and some of the sound clarity a professional would want is probably not the same as my goal for a good headset. The brand had been recommended to me by a friend who has designed speakers. While he was...

Cheap construction and arrived with DOA microphone.

Cheap construction and arrived with DOA microphone.

We've been using Sennheiser sets for years, but I think they have been victims of their own success. I wanted a lightweight headset for travel. This headset feels and looks cheaply made, more along the lines of a $15 store-brand headset than a $50 one,...
