Sennheiser VMX 100

Great voice quality, good volume, ease-of-use and pairing, 3D ball joint design

A little large and inconspicuous

The VMX 100 combines excellent VoiceMax technology with a comfortable design to produce one of the best Bluetooth headsets on the market.

Sennheiser VMX Office multi-source Bluetooth headset

It's a bit pricey but the ability to handle calls from multiple sources could be pretty handy.

If you’re already a Bluetooth fan then VMX Office will have obvious appeal. However, it has something for the rest of us: its ability to handle calls from landlines and PCs. Our only real complaints are about the woeful documentation and the price. A...

Sennheiser VMX100 - posh bluetooth

Not a good value

It's slick, looks great, and does work wonderfully, but it crapped out so soon that it's not worth $200.

Works great when it works; freedom to walk around and talk. Pairs easily

Battery lost ability to hold a charge in a year. They will not look at it without my paying $129. At this price, it should last a few years without having to shell out more than half the cost of a new unit. My 13 year old Plantronics (yeah, non-wireles

unable to get to work

If it works, great. If not. you've spent a lot of money for nothing. Not what would expect for such a great company.

reported as excellent and versatile - including for voice recognition (Dragon)

However, unable to get base/headset to work with computer, or headset to be picked up by any Bluetooth device. Manual not much assistance - pictures only, without labels and for set-ups with phones. Customer Service resulted in only put downs/no help

Very bad call quality, cannot use it!

Long battery life, would be useful if voice quality was good

Terrible call quality on this headset. Connects well to blackberry via bluetooth, but other side always mentions eco in the call and they can't hear me well. Waste of money, old type of connection to recharge and pc sync. Veerry disappointed with the S

Don't buy it!

Nice design, fits well

The one you are calling will experience such noise that he or she does not want to continue the conversation. I had mine replaced by the manufacturer, but replacement had same problem. They replaced for another model, which has bad fit

Consumer review by:

Great sound quality for user..less so for those called.

Until those I call complain that "echo" makes it very difficult or unpleasant to talk to me, I'll continue to use it...especially while driving (which is why I bought a bluetooth headset).

Slick design, easy pairing and operation, comfortable, reasonable charge time

Those I have called have noticed an echo of their voice, possibly caused by outward facing speaker sound being picked up by mic. Turning down volume on VX100 helps some, but then user may have trouble hearing in noisy environments

Product Specifications

The VMX 100 is the first Bluetooth headset designed with revolutionary VoiceMax dual microphone technology. VoiceMax employs a unique directional system using two microphones and advanced digital signal processing to distinguish speech from other noises. Distracting sounds such as wind, noise from traffic or machinery, or the murmur of a crowd are effectively eliminated for clearer, more easily understood conversations. The advanced features of the VMX 100 enhance speech understanding for the person wearing it, as well as the party on the other end of the line. Just as its dual microphone technology makes it easier for the voice of the user to be understood, the VoiceMax system also intelligently filters background noises from incoming calls, enabling users to better hear what is being said to them.
