Microphone broken right out of the box.

I will revise this review when I get the replacement headset and put it through it's paces.

The little amount of listening I've done with the headset sounds great. It's the only reason it doesn't get 1 egg

Unfortunately, the microphone was broken right out of the box. I've connected the headset 5 different way and searched thoroughly for possible software issues just to be sure. This is my first higher-end headset, and so far I"m disappointed. Hopefully...

Haven't tried them yet, just wanted to comment on what other posters are saying. Several bragged about these being made in Germany. The Newegg product description doesn't say where it's made. The box says made in China. What's up with that
