Sharkoon X-Tatic SX review

The X-Tatic SX is a gaming headset that works with both PCs and the Xbox 360. To connect it to a PC you'll need to plug it into your speaker output and microphone jacks, as well as a spare USB port, which the headphones use for extra amplification.

The bass works well in action games, but we'd prefer a headset for both games and music

Sharkoon X-Tatic SX Stereo Headset Review

Excellent build quality, Comfortable to wear for long periods, Clear and crisp voice pickup from the microphone, Long cables, Well known manufacturer, Inline USB powered amplifier

No 5.1 Surround output, A quiet static hiss can be heard when no sound is playing, Bass notes could be a little more defined

Final Thoughts [COLOR=black]The X-Tatic SX headphones on a whole are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time which is a stong advantage against its contenders, the padded head band doesn’t give the user any pressure on the top of the...

Sharkoon X-Tatic SX and SP Xbox 360 and PS3 Headsets Review

Sharkoon may not be a brand that you immediately associate with gaming headsets; they are better known for their golf ball style fans.  But they have been producing headsets for a while now and c...

Attractive Deisgn ; Low Price ; Removable Microphone ; PS3, PC and Xbox 360 Support (SP)

Sound quality isn't great ; Comfort could be better ; So many Cables

KitGuru says: We think the X-Tatic SP is a good buy but the SX is bettered by the SteelSeries 4XB.

Sharkoon X-Tatic SX & X-Tatic SP Review

Sharkoon has released two new headsets, primarily designed for Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. We take a look at how they perform.

Great quality construction ; Attractive design ; Good range of connectivity options ; Comfortable ; In line analogue volume and microphone control ; Microphone performance is fantastic

USB interference ; Overall average sonic performance ; (SP only) Price

These two headsets are identical in performance, comfort and quality, and only differ in the features they offer and price. At just shy of £40, the X-Tatic SX represents good value for money. You get a well-constructed, good looking, solid performing...

You get what you pay for

I really liked these heasets, but they only lasted me like 2 months after the mic randomly stopped working. I had to get a new pair through Sharkoon (Awesome Customer Service btw), and then the new pairs broke after a friend accidentally sat on them. I...

Awesome For Money

Absolutely a fantastic headsets and for the money they are unbeatable!

This is my first headset so I can not compare to any other brand. Set up was very simple. Sound quality is great with some very surprising bass. Comfortable fit with plenty of padding

Has a hiss type sound when no sound coming through the speakers. Although this is common from a usb powered device and isnt a problem for me cause you can't hear it while listening. Also while charge and play is connected to the xbox controller there...

Fantastic Product

If you are debating between these and the Turtle Beach X11's, I would go with these hands down after owning a pair of X11's then trying these.

Sound quality is above average for a headset this cheap. It looks great (especially when paired with a white xbox) and it is extremely sturdy feeling. Doesn't have cheap feeling wires or microphone

The only thing I didn't like about this was the mice seems a little short and sits more toward the side of my mouth

Great value!

I bought these after my Tritton AX180 headset broke in the mail after being shipped from my relative's house, after only 2 months of owning it. They have the same sound quality, but are much cheaper, and from what seems to be a much more reputable...

Great price ; Good sound quality ; Lightweight ; Very sleek design ; Easy to set up ; Good mic sound quality ; Feel sturdy, hopefully will last longer than my 2-month Tritton AX180s

Analog (may be a problem for some, but I use composite cable on my Xbox 360.) ; Not surround sound (I, again, don't care much for this) ; Sound is a bit flat in the mids, not for audiophiles
