Skullcandy Hesh

A scientific, in-depth analysis with side-by-side comparisons

Stylish; Removable cable

Terrible audio; Made of plastic

Despite their snazzy looks and general appeal to those youngins who think appearances matter more than performance, we’re forced to play the part of grumpy old men and pooh-pooh these headphones. They sound terrible.

Skullcandy iPhone FMJ

The FMJ's microphone was a couple steps up from the iPhone's stock headset in terms of clarity, although not quite as clear as those of the Etyomotic, Maximo, and Ultimate Ears models, below. The occlusion effect was only moderate

Skullcandy INK'D

We are confident that users who select Skullcandy INK'D earbud stereo headphones will receive a quality product and will be pleased with their purchase. The earbuds are great based on their features, design, ease of use and available help and support....

The INK’D earbuds’ sound quality is far and away the best of any model at this price point

With only three sizes of silicone sleeves, they might not fit every ear shape

The sound quality alone makes these earbuds worth buying, but combined with their unique style and lifetime warranty, the INK’D earbuds pull ahead of the competition.

great

Lasts you about 6 months

I've had this for five months. It's very durable. The wires seem very thin but they are very strong. This went through the washer twice and it works perfectly fine. I'm getting another one since they finally broke

Wires are too thin and tangles

Skullcandy Hesh 2.0 Headphones

The only bad thing I found about this product is that you do not get any cushion on the inside of the head band thing. Most headphones come with a cushion of some sort for the top part of the head inside to kinda help soften the contact with the top of...

Painful

All in all, they are the worst headphones I've ever owned. I wouldn't buy them again if my life depended on it. However, skullcandy headphones arnt all bad, the ones i used before these was the smaller version (the ones that fold in on themselves),...

They do make good quality and do cancel a lot of sound. Plus the graphics on the sides are pretty epic

These are by far the most painful headphones ive ever used (others being ones you wrap around your ear). yes they are sound canceling, but being as such, they are VERY tight. I game and learning to develop games, so im constantly on the computer with...

Surprisingly good earbuds for the price

Until my employer changed my company phone to an iPhone 4 several years ago, I had never really given much attention to portable music devices: if I was going to seriously listen to music, it would be at home on a pair of JBL monitor speakers, or on a...

Decent sound, isolates surrounding noise, comfortable, inexpensive

No volume control, stiff cord, exaggerated bass

A good value. Generally pleasing sound and far more comfortable than stock Apple earbuds.

Bass and Hights

OMG!!! The bass is amazing! The hights are great! The mid is good! Sleek, great feel, perfect if your a bicycler! Comparable to beats for a fraction of the cost!!!!
