SteelSeries Flux Pro In-Ear Headphones Review

SteelSeries Flux Pros are in-ear headphones that actually stay in-ear. These aren't your run of the mill earbuds, they have a few unique features that may have you ...

Actually stay in-ear, Comfortable, Rubber ear-guide very helpful for putting on and keeping on, Built-in ControlTalk with microphone, Swappable cable for universal usage, Small and light, Tangle-free cable, Great carrying case, Memory foam eartips...

No volume controls, Ear guides tricky to get on, Have to get used to over ear design

SteelSeries Flux Headset Review

If the user is looking for a headset that is easy to transport and versatile to the point of being used with a mobile phone and as a gaming peripheral, the Flux is the right choice. The lack of 5.1 surround sound support is a matter of taste, but 5.1...

SteelSeries Flux Luxury Edition Gaming Headphones Review

Rarely do we find a pair of cans that can do everything that we want it to, and do it well. Audiophiles flood the forums arguing which pair of headphones are the best and probably grimace at the simple mention of a pair of crap quality headphones. We...

SteelSeries Flux Headset

The SteelSeries Flux headset is advertised as being their most customisable and versatile headset they have ever developed. Everyone has their own perceptions on how customisable a headset should be, however SteelSeries sees this as style over form or...

Stows away easily for an overhead headset, Good quality audio for its size, Choice of left or right cable connection and cable types

Feels tight on the ears at first, will be looser over time, Fabric ear cushions, though solid, does let down overall quality, Rubber headband can add pressure with long use

SteelSeries Flux gaming headset (Luxury Edition)

An already solid headset gets a premium version

Stylish yet comfortable design ; Great audio reproduction during gameplay and movies/music

No dedicated soft protection under the headband ; Carry pouch doesn't provide protection

If you're looking for a solid headset for gaming, the Luxury Edition of the SteelSeries Flux is a good investment. It could use some refinement though, especially when it comes to padding under the headband.

Steelseries Flux Headset review

An excellent option for the gamer on the go

Comfortable ; Durable ; Built-in splitter ; Concealed mic ; Tangle-free cords

Average audio quality ; No in-line volume control ; Dull looking ; Luxury set a questionable value

The Steelseries Flux headset is an excellent travel headset and a very good, Jack-of-all-trades product. It's great for hauling around to LAN parties, and if you often find yourself with a fellow traveler watching DVDs on a plane, the compact design...

Great clarity and very good mic

These headphones really shine for online gaming, and are great for video/audio conferencing. I've been using them at work on my laptop for video chat meetings, phone calls & online gaming during my lunch break. I've also used them with my phone for...

They have a very crisp sound, not overpowering in any specific range like some other earbuds & headphones. Various sized inserts make them adaptable to virtually any sized ear canal, and the memory foam inserts are AMAZING. They block out almost all...

Although the audio is crisp, there isn't enough bass for listening to music with a heavy bass line (eg dubstep, techno, rap)

Good sound, comfortable, easy to untangle

The addition of a carrying case is a nice touch. And, even though I find fault with the 'no tangly mess' claim, I found that when using the case the already low number of tangles were further reduced. These quickly became my daily headphones.

These produce great sound. I don't want to oversell this, as you can surely get better sound from more expensive over-ear headphones, but for its price range it is as at least as good as some of the expensive in-ear competitors and better than what...

The headset comes with a mute button for the microphone on the cord, and that's it. If a skip ahead/back button is a must-have then you'll need to look elsewhere
