SteelSeries H Wireless Headset

Excellent sound quality for games. ChatMix and LiveMix features balance game sounds with clear voice audio

Expensive. Sound suffers a a bit with music outside of games

If you don't mind a high price for a device best-suited to a single task, the SteelSeries H Wireless Headset is one of the better wireless gaming headsets you can buy.

SteelSeries H Wireless review

SteelSeries is getting next-gen capable and living room ready

Super-comfortable design ; Stellar sound quality ; Transmitter's OLED screen ; Two long-lasting batteries

Volume seemed underpowered ; It's expensive

At the £270 level, a gaming headset needs to not only be devoid of significant issues, but also be a really refined and awesome addition to your game-playing experience.

The best way to describe the SteelSeries H Wireless headset is that as a package it is the best headset that I have tested, this comes courtesy of a great Gamer orientated sound signature, wireless connectivity and an amazing Transmitter packed with...

SteelSeries H Wireless Headset

If you don't mind a high price for a device best-suited to a single task, the SteelSeries H Wireless Headset is one of the better wireless gaming headsets you can buy.

The H Wireless is built for gaming and that’s where it really shines. It comes with all the cables you’ll need to connect the receiver to any game console or PC and even supports higher-quality optical audio if you have a device that supports it. I...

Needs improvement but passable...

My review is based on having something to compare this headset against. I also own the Skullcandy Plyr 1 7.1 high end wireless headset for which i reviewed on newegg as well. I believe I gave the Skullcandy 2 eggs because of the cheap plastic...

Wireless range and clarity very good ; Mic sensitivity very good and clarity of recording very good ; Setup easy ; Base station options seem very rich although haven't experimented much with the features so I can't attest to whether they are practical...

Comfort. Specifically the compression/tension of the headset. I am far from being fat or on the large size head scale, and these things are tight. The pleather is also a minor annoyance and not my personal favorite. Hopefully this gets better over...

SteelSeries H

I want to make it clear: this is an awesome product of a great quality. everything about this product feels rock solid. newegg was quick to ship as usual.

Battery does last 20H ; dual battery is an insanely effective concept ; 7.1 ; sound is fantastic ; range is incredible! (i can go well over 40 feet away from my desk)

bass is a little weak but meh... i don't care, the sound is so clear during gaming or music

Pretty great

I haven't tested these on a console, but apparently they're supported. Volume control is done completely through the receiver/headset. Windows Volume Mixer doesn't change the overall volume. Of course you can change the volume of specific programs as...

Great sound - Bass isn't overpowering, highs and mids aren't tinny, overall very satisfied with the sound of these cans ; Great microphone - The microphone sounds great, and it's almost too -sensitive ; Very comfortable to wear. Not too heavy, but...

Price. While this headset is amazing, 300 dollars is really steep, and makes you consider whether or not it's worth it ; Build quality. These are mostly well constructed, but the headband feels like it could break somewhat easily, and the adhesive that...
