Im glad this is not USB. The sound is actually not bad.

Price, free shipping, comfortable on top of head and ears and it comes with mute/volume control on wire

Nice little gaming headset

The wife finally agreed to try an MMO with me, and against all odds, she actually enjoys it! "Star Wars: The Old Republic" FTW! Anyhow, in order for us to play together from different rooms, she needed an inexpensive headset, and this one seemed to fit...

Great price, very inexpensive ; Lightweight ; Sound quality is more than good enough for gaming/chatting ; Mic performs well and sound-quality is good ; Boom mic swivels for left or right side usage ; Adjustable headband moves easily, but not so easily...

The cord could definitely use an alligator-style strain-relief clip. There is a small pen-style clip on the back of the inline volume control node, but this can only be clipped to fabric edges, such as a neckband or thin waistband. An alligator-style...

Bad QC. Product only Partially Functioned

Cheap, cheap, cheap

The cheap was for a reason. Only the left side headphone worked upon arrival. Refurbishing company needs better quality control. The headphones should have never been sent out in this condition

Great for price

I used these as a stand-in for another set I had that broke, and was pleasantly surprised with how good they were.

Very light, speakers are comfortable ; Microphone is pretty good ; Volume is loud enough, I never kept it at 100

As mentioned, they are light, and probably somewhat flimsy ; Mic switch doesn't actually mute the mic, just makes it very very quiet. Not a big problem though

Great, Cheap and Comfortable

Windows 8 ASUS EVO PRO 1156 Might want to try making sure audio drivers for motherboard are up to date and checking sound before ruling out that the microphone is actually bad

Plug and Play No issue ; No buzz or crackle, clear sound ; Very good for just the headset and audio ; Comfortable on my head, no sort of "pressure" felt by the top band

the microphone catches audio from the headphones from the relative close position ; must operate sound lower or else possible feedback ; microphone quality is a bit distorted but livable

Audio jack missing/ broken out of the box.

The audio jack is broken, missing. Item is dirty, yellowish everywhere, more like used than refurbished. Newegg rep told me it was shipped directly from a vendor. I ask for refund, and threw it to the trash

Works great.

You can't beat the price. Though I've never bought many headsets/headphones, I do have some Dre Pro Beats and the sound of this headset seems better [in my opinion, of course]. Definitely worth picking up if you need a mic for gaming but don't overlook...

Great sound. Picks up a nice range of highs and lows ; Mic works well. I've heard no complaints when I talk on vent about my mic weening or being static-y ; Comfortable for long hours of use ; Only 20 bucks

Works well for the price paid

Simple to set up. Has valume controlls, adjusts well to be comfortable. It is made out of plastric and feels flimsy, especially the microphone. It is for home use.
