Motorola Elite Sliver Bluetooth Headset

The Motorola Elite Sliver has excellent audio quality, noise cancellation, and an ultracompact size. The battery charger case helps it stand out from the Bluetooth headset pack.

The Elite Sliver's ear placement is tricky for eyeglass wearers. NFC pairing is a no-go, and the tiny volume key is awkward to operate.

While its fit could be snugger and NFC pairing is a pipe dream for now, Motorola Elite Sliver's advanced features and battery pack travel case will please all but the pickiest Bluetooth users.

"Awful.Dont waste your money."

Terrible sound quality. I paired this with 2 phones seemed ok for about 2 days but now will not stay connected to either phone. Poor design, you knock it out of place trying to answer it. When its connected (which is rarely) the sound quality is very...

cool case.

Pretty much all the features it advertised on the box do not work.

"High hopes dashed. Great concept - terrible execution."

Great concept but needs a lot of work. My bad...I should have waited until it was tested more.

Fits nice. Not intrusive.

Callers report that they can't hear me; I sound like I'm in a fishbowl; Too much background noise or interference.

"Great, except for On/Off switch"

If I had to actually buy another one, it would not be this one. Very high priced. I thought I would splurge and get a high end blue tooth. Quality is just not there with something as minor as a switch. Scrap the swivel switch for one that works...

Comfortable, small, nice volume and the charge last pretty long .

Needs to have a differently designed on/off switch. I've gone through 2 now that had the same on/off problem "mine stays on even in case" The switch fails in 3-4 weeks.

"good looks but that's just it..."

I really love the idea and the design but the execution of the idea seems to be very poor. I have got to say that the audio driver is killer but what is it good for if the sliver is useless. I have used the Sliver for two months and now I cannot pair...

Shell charger, small size,

"Drops calls"

Although I like the small size I will stick with Voyager pro.

Clear and compact size

Very diffficult to install in ear and worse if you wear eye glasses; only came with one ear bud. My came up missing and difficult to order.

"Does not work with iPhone 4S. Volume is always at MAX."

Do not buy this if you have an

Fairly comfortable.

Not usable due to MAX volume always, even when the headset is set to lowest volume, and phone is set to lowest volume.

"Pretty much the best bluetooth headset I have owned."

I was looking to purchase a new headset to upgrade from my Jabra, I wanted to return to BlueAnt, but they haven't come out with any new devices in a while. So I was going to buy the new Plantronics device, but was stopped by a customer service person...

Pairing with iphone easy, able to utilize voice recognition for dialing (other headsets were unable to get the name correctly). People on the other end of the line, can actually hear me during a conversation, and just general ease of use.

Hard to wear with sunglasses

"Not good with iPhone 4S. Volume is always Max"

I want this unit to work so bad. It fits my ear. I've tried Blue Ant and Jawbone. Neither work for me as they do not fit in my ear.

Size, Fit, battery life

Case - You cant charge the receiver with out it - non standard connector on the bluetooth device itself.

"Poorly made and NO WARRANTY SUPPORT."

Don't waste your money on a poorly made product.

When it works, its ok, except that pushing the answer button often pushes the device off the ear.

It is poorly made and falls apart at the seam where the rubber neck meets the plastic receiver. Mine only lasted two months. Motorola refuses to own up to their poor workmanship and instead deny warranty coverage because they say it's "broken."
