Tritton AX 180

Today we look at the Tritton AX 180s, an entry-level gmaing headset for the XBox and PS3. While these don't exactly set the world on fire, they do offer a good experience with fair durability for the price. If you're looking for a headset that you can...

Entry-level price, middle of the road performance.

I must echo other reviewers in here in saying that after about 5 months of use, the plastic broke. First it was one earmuff, dangling about. After I superglued that, the other earmuff broke off. Then they both broke off, and after I got them both back...

Works on 360, PS3, and PC ; Adequate sound quality for those looking to just hear voices through the headset

Sound quality not good enough for anything but hearing voices (my $15 headphones sounded better to me) ; Poor customer service ; Low quality, very prone to breaking after prolonged use. See below for further details

Impossible to recommend

Works well for PC, 360, and PS3. Fairly comfortable

After 4 months of daily use, one of the ear cups snapped off. Now this product is worthless

Good for the price

Before these I had the comparable Turtle Beach headset (2.1, or just 2 channel) and the mic quality on them was not very good. There was a lot of static when chatting and I couldn't get rid of it. Another thing is the TB design quality didn't seem...

Sound quality is really pretty good. Mic quality I guess is good, although I haven't heard what it sounds like after going over the internet. But I have tested it locally when adjusting settings in programs like Team Speak and it seems to sound good,...

One big con is the...necks I guess you call them, the stems that hold the ear pieces onto the crown piece that goes over your head, cracked and broke, which I've noticed is a common problem with this model. But since I didn't get any kind of warranty...

great sound quality but poor design

best sound quality iv had so far but poor design. would like to see future headset made of metal or some thing of greater strength.

great sound quality i dont mind all of the wires, i like them? love that i can use it for my consoles

poor design iv had them for about 3 months and when i got to class, i found that the headset support just before the ear piece where is swivels it has cracked on both sides and the left side is cracked half way to where they will not fix properly over...

Great Sound. Bad Design

The sound is great. I love the 3.5 and usb jacks and the fact i can use it with an xbox if i please. Feels comfortable

Headset keeps breaking at the joints. I had to return this twice and it looks like i am going to have to return it a third time. It cracks when you bend it to put on your head even with the smallest movement as possible to get on your head

Worst. Headset. EVER!!!

Do not buy this piece of junk. You're only wasting your money; should be 10 or 15 greenbacks, and definitely NOT 75 bucks for what you get. Way too overpriced for shoddy craftsmanship; there are much better headsets available.

How do I say this... volume controls flip-flop, audio stops working, loose xbox controller connection, flimsy mic, sensitive mic switch that can move far enough to disable the voice input until it is moved back... oh, and it breaks easy. Really easy......

Nice sound quality, and comfortable

Breaks way to easily. Took the headset off to go to the bathroom and it's broken twice above both ear pieces. Cheap product material. The codex also screws up when you hot swap it. The voice volume now controls the game volume and vice-versa

Insane Bass

Overall, I do really like these headphones. I just need to get used to them.

Pretty comfortable ; Good sound ; Well built ; Nice mic

Can get annoying with talking in ventrilo or similar programs while playing a game because the bass is so loud

Solid Headphones

Buy them!

I was looking around for some cheap headphones for gaming and general music listening with a microphone, I came across these and decided to buy them ; Very good headphones, very sturdy, very good bass response, clear audio, and the microphone works...

These are a bit uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time, I have to shift them around a bit and then It's good to go ; The headphones do not keep in the audio in, at all. The noise leaks a lot, but I am not complaining
