Turtle Beach Ear Force P21 Review

Although Turtle Beach has been making gaming headphones for years, a majority of the company's products have been specialized for the Xbox 360 and PC....

Absolute value for money!"

At first i was a bit sceptical whether to buy...

the sound quality is crisp, these will enhance your gaming experience greatly. I use them for PS3 but they work on multi platforms, so your brother can use them too

i havent been able to fault them as such. Only one thing, when i first took them out of the box they felt quite flimsy but rest assured, the build quality is excellent

The PX21 is a great headset for all platforms. The sound is very clear and you can really hear all the game audio cues. I also like the microphone monitoring and chat boost my old headset never had these features. Def pick one up

At first i was a bit sceptical whether to buy them as of the price, but they are truly "well worth-it". They WILL take your gaming experience to a whole new level.

The P21 is an excellent product for the PS3. The chat quality is excellent, and so is the sound quality. For example, in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, footsteps can be heard from an extremely long distance, which can be a huge help when playing the...

I have tried various bluetooth and USB headsets for chatting on the PS3 and these are by far better than any of them. They are a bit pricey, but for anyone that plays online with any regularity it is well worth it.

Game sound is handled very well, and having chat and ingame sound integrated into one pair of headphones is outstanding. Separate controls for chat and game sound are also nice, for on-the-fly adjusting when needed. Very comfortable as well

There can be a slight "hissing" when chat sound is turned up and there is no game sounds occuring. But you can turn the chat sound down if not needed, and most games don't have that many moments of quietness. $80 was a bit high too, but worth it

I had the Turtle Beach PX1 before purchasing these. The PX1 was awesome but it had three drawbacks: it required 2 free USB ports, a separate soundcard for chat, and you couldn't hear yourself talk... in loud gaming situations it made me feel like I...

Sound quality; adjustability; comfort; quietness (to those around you); you can hear YOURSELF talk (keeps you from yelling) and ease of setup

Minor hissing... only noticeable when no game sound is present

I work at a GameStop and have access to plenty of headsets. The $80 price tag is a little steep for a headset like this. Once you put it on and play a few games, you'll be moderately pleased with the sound quality, but you'll really be able to tell...

Pretty good sound. Not as rich and rumbling as other headsets I've tried, but they sound decent. Don't expect a surround sound experience

The mic, while adjustable, is not removable. If you don't want it in front of your face, you'll have a hard time getting it into a non-annoying position. If you flip it up, it falls right back down very easily
