Garmin Forerunner 935 Review

Garmin's Forerunner 935 GPS is everything an activity tracking fitness smartwatch should be.

Compact size for all its tech ; Water resistant to 5 ATMs ; Smart notifications ; Strong vibration alerts ; 24/7 heart rate monitoring

Uneven pool swim distance tracking

There is so very little that Garmin gets wrong with the Forerunner 935 that it’s difficult to review this watch without sounding like a cheerleader. We’ve been fenix fans since they launched, but we understand they are often too big for some people....

Garmin Forerunner 935 review: Advanced multi-sport GPS watch built to help you improve

The Garmin Forerunner 935 was announced last month and as I continue actively training for my first full marathon in June I've spent the last few weeks testing out the Forerunner 935 and comparing it to other GPS wearables.

Lightweight comfortable design ; Long battery life ; Accurate GPS and activity tracker ; Clear and crisp color display ; Easy to use interface ; Large buttons for efficient navigation ; Outstanding software providing all the data you could ever want

Expensive for a Forerunner

Review: Garmin's iPhone-connected Forerunner 935 offers Fenix features at lower cost

Garmin's Forerunner 935 is essentially a carbon copy of the Fenix 5, but with a few sacrifices for the sake of price -- and that, ironically, probably makes it a better buy for all but the most hardcore athletes and outdoor trekkers.

The Forerunner 935 remains aimed at serious fitness fans, no doubt. People who walk or jog a few times a week probably don't need to know their VO2 max, for example, or how much recovery time they need. The watch can even estimate completion times for...

Garmin Forerunner 935 Review: Big Power in a Slim Design

Triathletes, ultrarunners and multisport users have a great choice in a performance GPS watch like the $499 Garmin Forerunner 935. Its size, weight, features and battery life make it an extremely compelling device. If you're looking for a GPS watch...

Very long battery life ; Slim and light design ; Multisport support ; Offers same features of the more expensive Garmin Fenix 5

Doesn’t have the polish of Fenix ; Expensive

The lighweight, long battery life and multisport tracking features in the Garmin Forerunner 935 make it an excellent, if expensive, choice for triathletes and ultramarathoners.

Garmin Forerunner 935

The Garmin Forerunner 935 is a running and triathlon GPS sports watch. That's it at its most basic – but it's also a lot more. In fact this could be the most comprehensive tracking offering available right now all in one place on your wrist.

If you do any sport that could be improved with tracking, which is most, this watch will help you do exactly that. The more expensive package with chest strap is ideal for developed athletes looking for more insightful data but for everyone else the...

Garmin Forerunner 935 review

A running and fitness watch with phenomenal battery life

Varied sports tracking ; Amazing battery life ; Excellent fitness information

More expensive than most ; No onboard music ; No Garmin Pay

The Garmin Forerunner 935 is an exceptional multi-sport watch that will just keep chugging along for days and days on your wrist. It's also an excellent smartwatch and fitness tracker in many ways, with perhaps music support the only notable omission....

Garmin Forerunner 935 review: The sports watch of champions

Garmin Forerunner 935 review: A peerless multisport watch

It lacks some smart features, but the Forerunner 935 is as good a sports tracker as you'll find

Sophisticated sports tracking ; Excellent battery life ; Comfortable, lightweight design

No music playback ; No NFC

If you want all of the above in a more stylish design, and with the added benefit of music storage and NFC payments, you’ll need to look at the Fenix 5 Plus range, which starts at £600. However, if it’s just the fitness features you need, nothing does...
